A seminar entitled "Ethics of the Teaching Profession and the Professional Identity of the Teacher"

In its commitment to promoting professional values ​​and fostering awareness of the teacher's role in building society, the Faculty of Education organized a seminar entitled "Ethics of the Teaching Profession and the Teacher's Professional Identity."

The seminar was presented by Dr. Ahmed Abdel Aziz, a faculty member in the Department of Foundations of Education, under the auspices of Professor Dr. Hassan Mohamed Hawil, Dean of the Faculty, and in the presence of Professor Dr. Howaida Mahmoud Sayed, Vice Dean for Education and Student Affairs, with significant student participation.

The seminar addressed several key themes:

The concept of ethics in the teaching profession and its importance in the educational process

The essential characteristics of a role model teacher and their educational and humanistic role

The teacher's professional identity in light of contemporary challenges

The teacher's responsibility in building awareness and values ​​among students

Mechanisms for strengthening professional commitment among future teachers

At the conclusion of the seminar, an open dialogue was held with the Dean, during which he listened to students' opinions and questions and answered their inquiries in an interactive atmosphere that reflected the Faculty's commitment to supporting direct communication and enhancing its students' awareness of their future role in the teaching profession.

The College of Education Council held its meeting for the month of February 2026.

The College of Education Council held its February 2026 meeting, chaired by Professor Dr. Hassan Mohammed Huweil, Dean of the College, and attended by the Vice Deans, Department Heads, and Council members. The meeting was held to monitor the progress of academic and administrative work and enhance the quality of institutional performance within the College.

The Council discussed several important topics related to education, students, faculty members, and postgraduate studies. It also approved a number of organizational and academic decisions that support the development of the educational and research process and keep pace with the requirements of the current stage.

The Council recommended awarding academic degrees to a number of researchers and approved the formation of examination and review committees. It also reviewed training and practical education plans to contribute to preparing qualified educational personnel capable of meeting the needs of society and the labor market.

The College Council meeting reflects the administration's commitment to strengthening institutional work and continuous consultation, thereby enhancing the College's position as a leading center of educational expertise that contributes to supporting the university education system and serving the community.

The Faculty of Education organized a seminar entitled "Administrative Regulations and Governance for the Administrative Staff of the Faculty of Education," as part of the faculty's commitment to promoting a culture of institutional discipline and strengthening the principles of good governance within the university work environment. 🏛️📘

The seminar addressed the importance of administrative regulations as a governing framework for work, and the role of governance in supporting transparency, establishing accountability, and achieving institutional justice ⚖️, which contributes to raising the efficiency of administrative performance and improving the quality of services within the college 📈✨.

It also emphasized that adherence to regulations and procedures is not merely an organizational framework, but a work culture that fosters trust, supports continuous development, and keeps pace with the trends of institutional excellence 💡.

An awareness seminar entitled "The Dangers of the Dark Web and Electronic Gambling" was held as part of its interest in building genuine digital awareness among students and enhancing their ability to deal safely and responsibly with cyberspace.

The Faculty of Education continues its educational and awareness-raising role.

Under the patronage of Professor Dr. Ahmed Elminshawy, President of the University, and Professor Dr. Hassan Hawil, Dean of the Faculty, the Faculty of Education organized an awareness seminar entitled "The Dangers of the Dark Web and Online Gambling." This seminar reflects the Faculty's commitment to building genuine digital literacy among students and enhancing their ability to interact safely and responsibly with the digital world.

The seminar was presented by Professor Dr. Amani Mohamed Sherif, Vice Dean for Community Service, with the participation of Mr. Ahmed Abdel-Azim, Teaching Assistant in the Curriculum Department. Professor Dr. Hassan Mohamed Hawil, Dean of the Faculty, and Professor Dr. Howaida Mahmoud Sayed, Vice Dean for Education and Student Affairs, were also in attendance.

The seminar addressed several important topics, including:

▪️ An introduction to the Dark Web, its uses, and its dangers.

▪️ The legal and security dimensions associated with it.

▪️ The dangers of online gambling and its behavioral and economic impacts on youth.

▪️ Digital scams and fraud, and methods of prevention and protection.

▪️ The university's role in raising awareness and building a safe digital culture.

During his address, the Dean of the College emphasized that students of the College of Education serve as role models, and that teachers are the foundation for building society and shaping its future, as they are the ones who prepare generations capable of progress and achievement. He also stressed the importance of embodying the ethics and values ​​of teachers, and that education students should be exemplary in their behavior and discipline.

He further highlighted the importance of student activities in their various cultural, artistic, scientific, athletic, and social aspects, and their role in refining students' personalities and supporting the educational process, urging active participation in them.

At the end of the session, an open dialogue was held with the students, during which the Dean listened attentively to their questions and answered their inquiries with complete transparency, in an atmosphere characterized by interaction, clarity, and enhanced trust between the students and the college administration.

Digital archiving and electronic documentation using mobile applications

The Faculty of Education organized a seminar entitled "Digital Archiving and Electronic Documentation Using Mobile Applications," under the auspices of Professor Dr. Ahmed El-Menshawy, President of Assiut University, and Professor Dr. Hassan Mohamed Hawil, Dean of the Faculty.

The seminar was presented by Mr. Emad El-Din Hussein, a teaching assistant in the Department of Curriculum and Instruction at the Faculty. He addressed several important topics related to the concepts of digital archiving, electronic documentation mechanisms, and the most prominent mobile applications that contribute to organizing administrative work and storing documents securely and easily.

The Dean of the Faculty emphasized that organizing this seminar comes within the framework of the state and university's direction towards supporting digital transformation, developing the skills of the administrative staff, and raising their efficiency to keep pace with the requirements of the times and contribute to developing the work environment and improving the quality of performance within the Faculty.

Participants included Professor Dr. Amani Mohamed Sherif, Vice Dean for Community Service Affairs, Professor Dr. Howaida Mahmoud Sayed, Vice Dean for Education and Student Affairs, and a number of administrative staff members from various departments within the Faculty.

Faculty of Education Football League

In an atmosphere brimming with enthusiasm and competitive spirit, the Faculty of Education's Student Welfare Department organized the Faculty of Education Football League, as part of its efforts to support student activities and foster a sense of belonging and teamwork among students.

The league was generously sponsored by Professor Ahmed El-Menshawy, University President; Professor Ahmed Abdel-Mawla, Vice President for Education and Student Affairs; and Professor Hassan Mohamed Hawil, Dean of the Faculty. It was overseen by Professor Howaida Mahmoud Sayed, Vice Dean for Education and Student Affairs, with the active participation of the Student Welfare Department team and the Sports Committee. Mr. Ahmed Meftah, Director of Student Welfare, served as executive supervisor, with the participation of activity supervisors Captain Ali Kamel and Captain Mohamed Arabi.

This event underscores the importance of student activities as an integral part of building a university student's character. These activities contribute to developing leadership skills, strengthening teamwork, and discovering talents, in addition to their role in creating a positive university environment that supports excellence and integration between academic studies and practical activities.
