Faculty of Education Council Meeting

The Faculty of Education Council met today, chaired by Professor Hassan Huwail, Dean of the Faculty, and attended by the Vice Deans, heads of academic departments, and members of the Council.

The Council began its work by extending its sincere thanks and appreciation to Professor Ahmed El-Minshawy, President of the University, for his honoring and congratulating the Faculty on its first-place award at the university level in the Government Excellence Award.

The Council also discussed a number of important topics related to educational and student affairs and the regularity of study. It also included the registration and recording of research topics for graduate students, and the discussion and approval of quality issues and the development of academic performance.

At the conclusion of the meeting, the Dean emphasized the importance of commitment, discipline, and the advancement of the educational process, striving for excellence and leadership in academic and administrative performance.

Ideal Student Competition at the Faculty of Education, Assiut University

In an atmosphere of fair competition and a spirit of creativity and excellence, the Ideal Student Competition for the 2025/2026 academic year was held today at the Faculty of Education. The competition was held under the patronage of Professor Hassan Howail, Dean of the Faculty, and under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Howayda Mahmoud Sayed, Vice Dean for Student Affairs. It was organized by the Faculty's Youth Care Department.

The competition witnessed distinguished participation from the Faculty's male and female students, who presented an exemplary model of academic excellence, commitment, general culture, and the ability to engage in dialogue and communication.

At the conclusion of the event, the Faculty administration extended its sincere thanks and appreciation to the judging committee and all participants, wishing them continued success.

Launch of the Individual and Team Games Refresher Course at the College of Education

Under the patronage of Professor Hassan Mohammed Huwail, Dean of the College, and Professor Howayda Mahmoud Sayed, Vice Dean for Education and Student Affairs, and in the presence of the Director of the Student Care Department and Sports Activity Supervisors,

In an atmosphere of enthusiasm and a spirit of fair competition, the activities of the individual and team games refresher course for male and female students of the College of Education began today. The course aims to develop students' athletic skills and foster a sense of cooperation and belonging among them.

These activities come within the framework of the College administration's commitment to supporting student activities in all their fields, believing in their role in building the integrated character of students and encouraging them to participate actively on campus.

The course includes a number of group and individual games, with wide participation from male and female students of the College, amid an atmosphere brimming with activity and positive interaction.

The Faculty of Education qualifies to represent Assiut University in the Egypt Award for Government Excellence.

After the Faculty of Education won first place at the university level in the Assiut University Award for Government Excellence,

The Egypt Award for Government Excellence announced the results of the judging process for the third edition of the Assiut University Award for Quality and Excellence for 2025, in partnership with the Supreme Council of Universities.

The judging process concluded with the Faculty of Education and the Faculty of Engineering qualifying to represent the university in the Egypt Award for Government Excellence 2026. This was after a fierce competition among 19 faculties within the university, with the Faculty of Education winning first place.

This is a new achievement for the Faculty of Education at Assiut University.
