<p>Under the patronage of: Professor Dr. Ahmed El-Menshawy – University President, Professor Dr. Ahmed Abdel-Mawla – Vice President of the University for Education and Student Affairs. General Supervision: Professor Dr. Madiha Darwish – General Supervisor of Student Activities, Professor Dr. Yasmine El-Kahky – Dean of the Faculty, Professor Dr. Doaa Abdel Mohsen – Vice Dean for Education and Student Affairs, Dr. Haitham Ibrahim – General Director of the General Administration for Student Care, Mr. Ihab Abdel Hamid – Executive Director of the Small, Medium, and Micro Enterprise Development Agency in Assiut Governorate. The Faculty of Specific Education at Assiut University, in collaboration with the Small, Medium, and Micro Enterprise Development Agency, participated in the exhibition "Our Heritage for Handicrafts and Traditional Crafts" held at the Exhibition Grounds in Nasr City, Cairo, on Friday, October 10, 2025. The distinguished participation of the faculty’s male and female students was part of the university delegation consisting of 95 students across the university, in support of handicrafts and authentic Egyptian heritage and in encouragement of youth projects. Professor Dr. Yasmine El-Kahky – Dean of the Faculty also extends her sincere thanks and appreciation to the supervisory committee.

Under the patronage of Professor Dr. Ahmed El-Menshawy – President of Assiut University, and Professor Dr. Yasmine El-Kahky – Dean of the Faculty of Specific Education, the Faculty of Specific Education – Assiut University participated with a team of faculty members in the football sports meeting organized by the Faculty of Sports Sciences. This was part of efforts to promote the spirit of cooperation and communication among the university's faculties and to raise awareness about the importance of engaging in sports activities. The meeting witnessed an atmosphere of friendly competition and high sportsmanship among the participating teams, reflecting the university's commitment to supporting activities that combine academic work with attention to physical health.

Starting from a spirit of loyalty and appreciation for dedication, and emphasizing the value of teamwork and sincere efforts within the college, Professor Dr. Yasmin El-Kahky – Dean of the Faculty of Specific Education, honored the former members of the college council for the academic year 2024/2025, in recognition of their distinguished role in supporting the college's journey and achieving its academic and educational goals.

Today, the distinguished art exhibition "Faces" for fourth-year students (2024 / 2025) in the Department of Art Education was inaugurated

The exhibition was distinguished by displaying a collection of creative works that reflect the students' skills and artistic and aesthetic awareness, ranging between sculptural and pictorial compositions that embodied the theme "Faces" in contemporary styles and innovative visions expressing various human personalities and emotions.

Professor Dr. Yasmin El-Kahky – the Dean of the Faculty – praised the exhibition for its high artistic level and creative ideas, emphasizing that these works reflect an outstanding academic and artistic effort, showcasing the quality of the educational process in the Department of Art Education.

Under the patronage of His Excellency Professor Dr. Ahmed El-Menshawy – President of Assiut University, Assiut University organized the grand celebration of the 52nd anniversary of the glorious October War victories, which was held in the university's grand conference hall. The celebration was attended by a select group of faculty members, staff, and students from the various faculties of the university, and included a national seminar presented by Major General Pilot Samir Aziz Mikhael – one of the heroes of the glorious October War, interviewed by the renowned journalist Khaled Saad – an expert on media affairs at Egyptian Television. During the seminar, they shared firsthand accounts of the heroic acts of the great Egyptian army and the spirit of sacrifice and devotion demonstrated by the nation’s sons during the Crossing epic. The celebration was also attended by Professor Dr. Yasmin El-Kahky – Dean of the Faculty, Professor Dr. Doaa Abdel Mohsen – Vice Dean for Education and Student Affairs, along with a number of faculty members, staff, and students, believing in the importance of instilling values of national belonging and loyalty in students and reinforcing pride in the heroic achievements of the Egyptian Armed Forces.
