Under the patronage of Professor Dr. Ahmed El-Menshawy, President of Assiut University, and Professor Dr. Ahmed Abdul Moulis, Vice President of the University for Educational Affairs and Students, along with Professor Dr. Yasmin El-Kahky, Dean of the Faculty of Specific Education in Assiut, and Professor Dr. Said Mustafa, General Coordinator of Student Activities in the faculty, Professor Dr. Said Mustafa held a meeting with the President of the Union, his assistant, and the secretaries of all student committees and their assistants, in the presence of Ms. Ghada Wahid, Director of the Student Care Department, and all specialists of the department. He listened to the proposals presented by them for the plans of each committee during the upcoming period. He also discussed the proposals for organizing the annual iftar, which will be held at the Faculty of Specific Education in Assiut, and the distribution of tasks to each committee to ensure that the annual communal iftar appears in an ideal manner, involving competitions, recreational games, and various periods. Dr. Said emphasized the necessity of fruitful cooperation among all student committees and that we work under one umbrella, which is the Faculty of Specific Education at Assiut University.

Activities of a religious seminar titled 'Fasting, Mastery of Work, and Its Impact on Society'

Under the patronage of Professor Dr. Ahmed Al-Manshawi, President of Assiut University, and Professor Dr. Ahmed Abdel Mowly, Vice President for Education and Student Affairs, and Professor Dr. Yasmin Al-Kahki, Dean of the Faculty of Specific Education in Assiut, and Professor Dr. Saeed Mustafa Mohamed, Assistant Professor of Woodwork in the Department of Art Education and General Coordinator of Student Activities in the College, the Faculty of Specific Education, the Student Care Administration, and the Cultural Committee of the College organized a religious seminar entitled "Fasting, Mastering Work, and Its Impact on Society." The honorable Sheikh Muhammad Alim Al-Din, Dean of the Al-Azhar Religious Institute in Assiut, delivered the lecture on Tuesday, March 11, 2025, at 10 AM. The Dean of the College commended the valuable seminar which emphasized the importance of mastering work during fasting, stating that mastering the fast of Ramadan means mastering all the work we do in Ramadan, first and foremost mastering the fast itself, for work in itself requires mastery. Allah Almighty says: "And say, 'Do [good deeds]'; for Allah will see your work and [so will] His Messenger and the believers." And the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) said, “Indeed, Allah loves that when one of you does a work, he should perfect it." She expressed her gratitude and appreciation to Sheikh Muhammad Alim Al-Din and the Student Care Administration at the College for their efforts.

The Dean of the college held a meeting with the advisors of the technical committees at the college, attended by Mr. Ahmed Farag, the College Secretary, and Ms. Ghada Wahid, Director of Student Care Department.

During the meeting, she listened to the proposals submitted by the committee advisors regarding the plan for each committee in the upcoming period. She affirmed her full support for all student activities and events across all committees and the necessity of coordination between all committees for each event as we work as one entity, with a team spirit, and in cooperation with all members of the Student Union in the Faculty. She also discussed proposals to organize the annual iftar (breaking of the fast) which is held in the Faculty of Specific Education in Assiut. The annual iftar serves as a major celebration starting from the beginning of the day and extending after the Taraweeh prayers, embodying a spirit of camaraderie and love among faculty members, their assistants, the administrative staff, and the faculty employees and workers.

Regulations for the implementation of national education courses for female students at Assiut University for the year 2024-2025

Assiut University offers national education courses for female students as part of a cooperation protocol between the Ministry of Higher Education and the leadership of the Popular and Military Defense Forces. These courses aim to enhance national awareness and foster a sense of belonging among students, preparing them to face challenges that the nation may encounter, in addition to building a new generation of young women capable of taking responsibility and actively participating in the service of their country.The courses target first-year and preparatory female students for the academic year 2024-2025 and beyond, provided that the student holds Egyptian nationality. The courses will be implemented according to the announced plan by the university's military education department, without the need for direct interaction with the military education office, as coordination is done through student affairs and the designated national education coordinators from the university.Registration includes submitting a copy of the ID card and one personal photo to be handed in on the first day of the course. Additionally, regulations for exemptions and postponements have been established for specific cases, such as students with disabilities or those holding "integrated service cards."The courses include theoretical lectures held in designated halls, cultural and recreational activities, and field visits.

Under the patronage of Professor Dr. Ahmed Al-Manshawi, President of Assiut University, and Professor Dr. Ahmed Abdul Mawla, Vice President of the University for Educational and Student Affairs, and Professor Dr. Yasmin Al-Kahki, Dean of the Faculty of Specific Education in Assiut, the Faculty of Specific Education participated in the competition "The Most Beautiful Ramadan Square" among the university's faculties, which was organized from February 11 to March 3, 2025, by the Arts Management - Visual Arts Department of the General Administration for Student Care. The Dean of the Faculty emphasizes the importance of these competitions, especially in this Ramadan atmosphere, as they significantly contribute to enhancing the spirit of competition among our male and female university students and revealing their artistic and innovative aspects while promoting cultural and heritage identity. The Student Care Management at the Faculty, under the supervision of Professor Dr. Said Mustafa, General Coordinator of Student Activities, and Ms. Ghada Wahid, Director of Student Care Management and Specialist in the Faculty, decorated the faculty's courtyard with Ramadan decorations in distinctive colors and Ramadan lanterns, which were distributed throughout the Faculty. The Faculty also prepared a traditional Ramadan tent with many handmade lanterns.
