Under the patronage of His Excellency Professor Dr. Ahmed El-Menshawy – President of Assiut University, His Excellency Professor Dr. Ahmed Abdel-Mawla – Vice President of the University for Education and Student Affairs, Professor Dr. Yasmin El-Kahky – Dean of the Faculty, Professor Dr. Doaa Abdel Mohsen – Vice Dean for Education and Student Affairs, and under the supervision of Professor Dr. Saad Hassan Mohy El-Din – Supervisor of the Educational Technology Department, the Faculty of Specific Education organized a workshop entitled: "How to Use the Microsoft Teams Platform to Upload Course Materials" for students (Department of Home Economics). This aligns with the faculty's commitment to supporting digital transformation and enhancing students' skills in using electronic educational platforms. The workshop was presented by Eng. Dalia Qassem – Assistant Lecturer in the Educational Technology Department, and it covered the mechanisms of using the platform and effective communication methods between students and faculty members, contributing to the development of the educational process and achieving effective electronic communication. This comes within the College’s keenness to support digital transformation and enhance students' skills in dealing with electronic educational platforms. The workshop was presented by Engineer Mohamed Emad – Teaching Assistant in the Department of Educational Technology. It covered how to use the platform and effective communication methods between students and faculty members, contributing to the development of the educational process and achieving effective electronic communication. Under the patronage of Professor Dr. Yasmin El-Kahky – Dean of the Faculty of Specific Education, Professor Dr. Doaa Abdel Mohsen – Vice Dean for Education and Student Affairs, and Professor Dr. Montaser El-Qally – Head of the Department of Music Education, the students of the faculty participated in the "Naghm" music competition at the level of Assiut University, achieving second place at the university level, marking a new accomplishment added to the faculty's achievements in supporting student creativity and artistry. The Dean of the Faculty extends sincere congratulations to the winners: Student / Madonna Asaad Lotfy – First Place in Singing Student / Shehata Sweha Geid – Second Place in Instrumental Performance Student / Sosenah Kareem Marzouk – Third Place in Hymns Student / Shahd Fargly Abdelbar – First Place in Religious Chanting Student / Noha Mohamed Badawy – Third Place in Instrumental Performance The Dean also extends heartfelt thanks and appreciation to Professor Dr. Montaser El-Qally – Head of the Department of Music Education, and Professor Dr. Amal Tawfiq – Professor of Arabic Music in the Department of Music Education, for their participation in judging the "Naghm" competition at the university level and their effective contribution to the success of the event.

Assiut University organized a seminar titled 'Parliamentary Elections and the Responsibility of the Academic Elite in Building the Egyptian State'

Assiut University organized a seminar entitled "Parliamentary Elections and the Responsibility of the Academic Elite in Building the Egyptian State," under the patronage of Professor Dr. Ahmed El-Menshawy, President of the University, and in the presence of Professor Dr. Mahmoud Abdel Aleem, Vice President of the University for Community Service and Environmental Development. The seminar was attended by several academic leaders of the university and the academic elite, including faculty members, assistant staff, and administrative personnel, among them Professor Dr. Yasmin El-Kahky, Dean of the Faculty of Specific Education, accompanied by a number of faculty members and their assistants from the faculty. The seminar addressed the role of students within the university and the role of faculty members in raising students’ awareness about the importance of participating in political life. It also aimed to promote electoral awareness and develop political culture among the academic elite, as well as to encourage the submission of studies and scientific research that contribute to the development of parliamentary and legislative work. Additionally, it sought to enhance the values of citizenship, belonging, and social responsibility among the university's academic elite, affirming the university's role in building national awareness and active participation in the development of modern Egypt.

As part of the joint cooperation between the Faculty of Specific Education and Notre Dame School in the fields of student activities and experience exchange, the faculty received a delegation of preparatory grade female students from Notre Dame School, accompanied by Sir/Feryal, to get acquainted with the faculty's departments and various activities, and to strengthen cooperation and exchange experiences between the two sides. They were accompanied by some handmade art works. The Student Care Department – (Social Committee) organized a seminar entitled: 'The Importance of Volunteering and Serving the Community for the Individual and Society'

Under the patronage of His Excellency Prof. Dr. Ahmed Al-Manshawi – President of the University, His Excellency Prof. Dr. Ahmed Abd Al-Mawla – Vice President of the University for Education and Student Affairs, Prof. Dr. Yasmin Ahmed El-Kahki – Dean of the Faculty of Specific Education, and Prof. Dr. Doaa Mohamed Al-Mohsen – Vice Dean for Education and Student Affairs, the Student Care Department – (Social Committee) organized a seminar entitled: "The Importance of Volunteering and Community Service for the Individual and Society." This was in line with the faculty's keenness to promote a culture of volunteer work, raise students' awareness of their social role, and enhance their positive participation in serving the community.

The seminar was presented by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Ghada Abdel Aal Ahmed – Assistant Professor in the Department of Individual Service, Faculty of Social Work – Assiut University. She provided an outstanding educational presentation on the concept of volunteering, its significance on both individual and societal levels, and its impact on instilling values of belonging and responsibility among youth.

She followed up on the departments' preparations to complete the practical projects.

Professor Dr. Yasmin Al-Kahki, Dean of the Faculty of Specific Education, conducted an inspection tour of the scientific departments within the faculty, visiting the Departments of Art Education, Home Economics, and Educational Technology, to follow up and ensure the smooth progress of work and the regularity of the educational process. During the tour, she monitored the departments' preparations to complete practical projects and listened to the observations of faculty members and their assistants, emphasizing the importance of providing an outstanding learning environment that fosters creativity and enhances academic performance within the faculty. She also expressed her appreciation for the creativity demonstrated by students across various departments, commending their remarkable work and affirming her commitment to supporting their talents and encouraging them to continue excelling and putting in greater effort. The tour concluded with her thanking all faculty members and their assistants for their efforts, reaffirming the continuation of teamwork to achieve the highest standards of quality within the faculty.
