The Board of the Faculty of Electrical Engineering and the Committee on Cultural Relations was presented with the approval of the application of Mr. A. Dr. Mohammed Kamel Al-Sharbini and Mr. A. D./Mazen Mohamed Shafiq Abdel Salam on the postponement of the hosting of the 20th International Conference of Power Systems Mepcon20 for 2019 m instead of 2018 from 18 to 20/12/2019 until the necessary approvals are obtained for the Conference.

The Board of the Faculty of Engineering was presented with a briefing by the Committee on Education and Student Affairs on the speech of Mr. A. Dr./Chairman of the Council of Physics Department-Faculty of Science on teaching physics to students of the Preparatory Division in Arabic or English, starting with the next semester. The Committee recommends that the rapporteur be taught in Arabic, with the beginning of next year hopefully 2018/2019. Resolution: The Council approved the decision of the Committee on Education and Student affairs. 

Prof. Dr. Nubi Mohamed Hassan, Dean of the college, visited all departments of the college to follow up on the learning process, the conduct of lectures and the removal obstacles facing students with the beginning of the second semester of the academic year 2017/2018 with the wishes of his lordship to all students to succeed and reconcile
