In this presentation, a novel modification of a sandwich-type pencil graphite electrode (PGE) was developed. The electrode consists of ds-DNA biomolecules sandwiched between two-dimensional molybdenum vanadium carbide (Mo2V2C3) MXene nanoflakes intercalated with graphene oxide and the vertically oriented graphene oxide decorated with cobalt nanoparticles (Co@VOGO/ds-DNA/MXene@rGO/PGE). This modified electrode was proposed for the voltammetric determination of the antiepileptic drug Levetiracetam (LVT). Various characterization techniques, including scanning electron microscopy, powder X-ray diffraction, Raman spectroscopy, X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy, and electrochemical impedance spectroscopy were employed. The modified electrode demonstrated a linear dynamic range of 5 × 10−7–6 × 10−5 mol·L−1 and a detection limit of 3.6 × 10−8 mol·L−1. It exhibited excellent …
