Under the patronage of Prof. Ahmed El-Menshawy, President of the University, and Prof. Gamal Badr, Vice President for Postgraduate Studies and Research, and under the supervision of Prof. Gihan Nabil Hassan Fetih, Dean of the Faculty, Prof. Dina Fathalla Mohamed, Vice Dean for Postgraduate Studies and Research, and Prof. Tahany El-Fahham, Emeritus Professor of Pharmaceutics and Chair of the Research Ethics Committee at the Faculty, and in the presence of Prof. Yasser Ghalab Gouda, Professor of Pharmacognosy and member of the Research Ethics Committee—
and in accordance with the training plan of the Research Ethics Committee at the Faculty—
a lecture entitled “R as a Tool for Statistical Analysis: An Introduction” was organized, with distinguished participation from faculty members, teaching assistants from various departments, postgraduate students, and researchers.

The lecture and practical training were delivered by Dr. Mohamed Abdel-Hakam Younes, Lecturer at the Department of Crops, Faculty of Agriculture, Assiut University.

The workshop was held on Wednesday and Thursday, October 22–23, 2025, at the Faculty’s Technology Services Unit laboratories.

The Student Computer Unit, in cooperation with the Central Youth Welfare Administration, and within the framework of the joint collaboration between Assiut University and the Ministry of Communications and Information Technology (MCIT), is pleased to announce the organization of a training workshop aimed at supporting the Digital Transformation Project through sustainable development and preparing youth for the labor market, focusing on the theme:
“Promoting Digital Citizenship and Protection from Internet Risks.”

The workshop will be held for Assiut University students from various faculties and will cover key topics of Digital Transformation using Information Technology, including:

• Artificial Intelligence (AI)
• Entrepreneurship
• Microsoft Office 365

The sessions will be delivered by a distinguished team from the Ministry of Communications.

It has been decided that the midterm exam for second-year students of the National University in the course Pharmacognosy (2) will be held on Monday, November 10, 2024, at 11:00 a.m.

Students will be distributed as follows:

The midterm exam for Pharm D third-year students in the course (Pharmacognosy Chemistry I) will be held on Monday, November 10, 2025, at 12:00 p.m. (noon) in each student’s respective laboratory.

Important Note:
• The exam will not be repeated under any circumstances.

It has been decided to hold the midterm exam for Assiut National University students enrolled in the offered course (Medicinal Plants) on Saturday, November 8, 2025, at 4:00 p.m. in the Pharmacognosy Department, Fourth Floor Laboratories.

The midterm, theoretical, and practical exam for the course (Medicinal Chemistry – 3) for fourth-year Pharm D students will be held on Sunday, November 23, 2025, from 12:00 p.m. to 1:00 p.m. in Hall (1).
