Assiut Al- Ahlia University announcing the exam results of a number of Faculties of for the academic year 2024/2025

Dr. Ahmed El-Minshawy, president of Assiut University and Commissioner for conducting the work of Assiut Al-Ahlia university, announced the approval and announcement of the results of a number of Colleges of Assiut Al-Ahlia University for the second semester of the academic year 2024/2025, after the completion of assessment , monitoring, reviewing, and upload the results on the official websites of the colleges, under the supervision of Dr. Nobi Mohammed Hassan, vice president of Al-Ahlia University for Academic Affairs.

Dr. El-Minshawy pointed out that the faculties whose results were announced included the Faculty of Engineering with its programs: medical and Bioengineering, interior architecture, mechatronics and robotics engineering, and Construction Engineering, for all academic levels, in addition to the Faculty of Pharmacy and pharmaceutical research, the Faculty of Administrative Sciences (English language program), and the BIS program for the first, second and third levels.

The results of the Faculty of languages and applied languages of the English language division at the second and third levels, and the German language program at the first and second levels also announced .

The president of the University stressed that he issued his directives since the beginning of the exams to regularly work the controls within the faculties, provided that the correction and monitoring processes are completed first after each exam, to ensure the speed of announcing the results and making them available electronically, in order to ensure the interest of students and facilitate parents.

For his side, Dr. Noubi Mohammed Hassan stated that the second semester exams were held in an atmosphere of discipline and commitment, and about 5,640 students from various study teams participated in the faculties of the private university, according to the time map of the current academic year, while providing an appropriate examination environment that achieves the highest degrees of organization and discipline.

The vice-president of Al-Ahlia University added that the correction work is still ongoing in a number of other colleges, provided that their results will be announced successively in the coming days as soon as they are approved and uploaded on the approved official websites.

Assiut University launches the podcast "Assiut University News" in English During the period 6-12 June 2025. 

Under the supervision of Dr. Ahmed El-Minshawy, president of Assiut University, the university launched a new podcast, broadcast in English, with the aim of enhancing communication with the academic community at the local and international levels, during the period 

6-12 June 2025. 

The podcast aims to highlight the most prominent university activities and events, in addition to reviewing the latest research and academic achievements, reflecting the leading position occupied by Assiut University in various scientific and cultural fields.

 

Dr. El-Minshawy appreciate the Assiut University family for advancing 100 positions globally in the Times 2025 ranking and achieving the second place in Egypt in sustainable development

Dr. Ahmed El-Minshawy, president of Assiut University, congratulated the university family of faculty, staff, and students on the occasion of the new achievement of the university by advancing 100 places globally in the Times sustainable development ranking for 2025 (the Impact Ranking), and obtaining the second place at the level of Egyptian universities, and ranked 301 globally out of 2318 universities representing 125 countries around the world.

Dr. El-Minshawy stressed that this great progress is a new international testimony to the quality of the University's institutional performance and its commitment to the Sustainable Development Goals, which was achieved thanks to continuous efforts and teamwork among all sectors of the University and its faculties, in accordance with an ambitious strategic plan implemented by the University for the period from 2024 to 2029.

The president of the University pointed out that the International Classification showed Assiut University's progress in a number of International Sustainable Development Goals, explaining that the honorable results achieved are a direct reflection of the application of effective policies in supporting scientific research, developing community services, strengthening international partnerships, and improving the quality of Education, praising the vital role played by the International Classification Office at the University and its continuous efforts in supporting the University's orientations towards leadership and excellence.

The president of the university also sent a letter of thanks and appreciation to all those who contributed to this achievement from the University's leaders, faculty, staff and students, stressing that the university continues on the path of excellence under the slogan: "We deserve the best", believing in its mission to serve society and achieve sustainable development locally and internationally.

Assiut University organizes a training forum on "electronic secretarial" for administrative staff

Assiut University, under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Ahmed El-Minshawy, president of Assiut University, organized today, Sunday, June 22, 2025, a training forum entitled: "Electronic secretariat", in the discussion Hall of the administrative building of the university, as part of its continuous efforts to develop the performance of the administrative apparatus and raise the efficiency of its staff, under the supervision of Prof. Shawkat saber, secretary general of the University, and the organization of the General Department of talent management and development, within the targeted training plan for employees in various departments and units.

The forum aims to enhance the digital skills of employees, and introduce them to the latest methods and software used in electronic secretarial, to keep pace with the requirements of digital transformation and support improving the efficiency of institutional performance.

Dr. Ahmed El-Minshawy stressed that the organization of the "electronic Secretariat" forum comes within the framework of the University's keenness to develop the administrative apparatus and raise the efficiency of its employees, in line with the state's orientation towards digital transformation, pointing to the importance of qualifying administrative cadres and providing them with the skills and knowledge necessary to use modern technology in office management. He added that the forum focuses on a number of key topics, including electronic archiving, document management, digital communication, as well as the development of administrative and behavioral skills required to work efficiently in an advanced digital environment.

The forum comes under the supervision of: Mr. Osama El Sayed, Assistant Secretary General of the University, Mr. Abdulkader Mehran, head of the Central Department of human resources, and Mr. Khaled Omran, Director General of talent management and development, with the participation of about (60) trainees from various sectors of the University.

  Mr. Osama Al-Sayed pointed out that the training program aims at developing the capabilities of administrative staff, enabling them to perform their tasks and responsibilities in the areas of secretarial and office management efficiently and effectively, as well as training on the use of electronic secretarial tools, which contributes to saving time and effort, and improving the level of dealing with the public quickly and easily. He also stressed the vital role played by the secretarial staff in organizing office work, arranging appointments, and providing the necessary support and assistance to the head of work, in order to ensure the regularity of the workflow in accordance with sound organizational bases.

The forum will be held on the 22nd and 23rd of June, and will address a number of important topics, most notably: the concept of electronic secretarial, the modern responsibilities and tasks of the secretary, in addition to the skills and qualities to be available in the secretarial staff, the importance of employing modern technologies in this field, in addition to practical applications in electronic archiving and archiving, these topics are discussed by Dr. Abeer Tawil Mohammed, Information Technology teacher at the Faculty of Arts.

The forum also deals with the topic of e-Management, in terms of its concept, the specifications of the e-office manager, and the most prominent challenges facing the application of this management model, as well as a presentation of the latest advanced technologies used to improve work efficiency and increase employee productivity.

Dr. Ahmed El-Minshawy, president of Assiut University, announced that Dr. Mohammed Sami Adly Al-Qadi, a teacher of Islamic architecture at the Department of antiquities at the Faculty of Arts, won the award of the state issues authority for the suspension of Advisor Dr. Mohammed Shawqi Al-fangri in favor of the service of Dawah and Islamic jurisprudence for the year 2024/2025, for his research entitled: "The role of businessmen in the advancement of societies through investment in human construction".

Dr. El-Minshawy stressed that this scientific achievement reflects the University's excellence and leadership in various fields of research and knowledge, pointing out that the university is keen to support outstanding researchers and enhance their scientific capabilities to serve community issues and contribute to achieving sustainable development.

The president of the University congratulated the researcher, Dr. Mohammed Sami Al-Qadi, praising his research efforts and his choice of a very important topic that reflects awareness of the value of the human being as a key axis for the renaissance of societies. He also praised the efforts of businessmen in actively contributing to development through investing in human development, stressing that this trend is in line with the priorities of the Egyptian state in enhancing human capital.

Dr. El-Minshawy pointed out that Assiut University places among its priorities the support of various disciplines and knowledge based on serious scientific research, and providing a stimulating environment for researchers to produce solid studies with a real societal impact, in a way that enhances the University's position locally and internationally, and links academic leadership with the requirements of national development.

The Supreme Committee of the endowment announced the victory of Dr. Al-Qadi during a ceremony organized by the state issues authority to honor the winners. The committee was chaired by Chancellor Abdel Razzaq Shoaib, chairman of the state issues Commission and the head of the endowment, and included in its membership an elite of religious and academic figures, including: Dr. Nazir Mohammed Ayad, the mufti of the Republic, Dr. Ibrahim Al-Hudhud, former president of Al-Azhar University, Dr. Ahmed Fouad Pasha, former vice-president of Cairo University, Dr. Abdullah Abdel Fattah el-tatawy, former vice-president of Cairo University, Dr. Mohammed Mahmoud Abu Hashem, vice-president of Al-Azhar University, advisor Ahmed Thabet, vice-president of the commission and Secretary General, advisor Sameh Sayed chairman of the commission and rapporteur of the Supreme Committee of the endowment.

For his part, Dr. Mohammed Sami Al-Kadi explained that his research dealt with several axes, the most prominent of which are: the concept of investing in human development and its various dimensions, and the social responsibility of businessmen, in addition to presenting successful models of investment initiatives in this field. He also made a number of important recommendations, the most prominent of which is the state's encouragement to businessmen to establish charitable and service institutions aimed at serving the community by investing in human development, and encouraging them to contribute to the development of human resources by providing appropriate training, rehabilitation and development programs.

It is worth mentioning that Dr. Mohamed Sami El – Kady received a doctorate degree in Islamic architecture from the Faculty of Arts at Assiut University in 2020, and has also received a number of scientific and literary awards, most notably: the Sharjah International Award for library literature from His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan Al-Qasimi in the United Arab Emirates in 2015, the Merit Award from the Nagy Naaman International Literary Foundation for culture in Lebanon in the same year, and the Cairo University-Chancellor Dr. Mohamed Shawky Al-fangri Encouragement Award for the best theoretical and Applied Studies and research to serve Egypt in 2017, along with being chosen as Castle magazine's civilization and heritage personality in November 2020.
