This research experimentally evaluates the behavior and performance of prefabricated segmental bridge CFDST columns constructed with non-emulative systems as compared to emulative systems under eccentric gravity loadings. The experimental program included testing 12 short columns of the exact dimensions divided into five groups. One group was dedicated to investigating the performance of emulative systems in CFDST columns with an embedded connection at the footing. Three groups were used to examine the performance of the non-emulative system in prefabricated segmental post-tensioned CFDST columns with rocking connections.
