Prof. Ahmed A. Gaeis visited the Faculty of Arts to follow up the exams and assured that the exam process must be carried out while students are provided with all facilities and proper environment for the exams. He also assured that all faculty deans, vice-deans, and examiners must be there to solve any problem that students raise during the exam duration.

Prof. Ahmed A. Gaeis, Assiut University President, stated that 75% of the final construction work of a new integrated building for the Faculty of Dentistry has been done. The building is located within the University Campus to provide medical and educational services in the highest level of development and modernity. He also emphasized the need for following up the finishing and furnishing work to ensure the completion of the remaining work in the building as soon as possible.

Prof. Tarek Al-Gammal assured that the agreement springs out of tightening the cooperation ties and creating scientific and practical relationships in such areas as: scientific research, teaching, and program development. The agreement asserts the university's keen tendency to hold open relationships with all Arab universities in general, and with Yemeni Universities in particular.

Prof. Ahmed A. Gaeis, Assiut University President, met the delegation representing the KoreaTech University to follow up the achievement of the joint project between the two universities. Prof. Gaeis assured that the university is keen on offering all possible facilities for running the project properly; a matter that reflects the university's deliberate aspiration to keep distinguished relations of cooperation with the various scientific institutions around the world; a matter that returns with benefits to all the university affiliates and improves their scientific and practical efficiency.

Under the auspices of Prof. Ahmed A. Gaeis, Assiut University President, the university inaugurated an art exhibition entitled as: "The New valley and the Privacy of Place" by Dr. Mohamed Thabet Badary, Professor of Artistic photography, and Vice-Dean of the Faculty of Fine Arts for Education and Student Affairs. The event was attended by a number of artists including Prof. Mansour Mansy, Dean of the Faculty of Fine Arts, Prof. Wagdy Nakhla, Dean of Faculty of Specific Education, Artist Saad Zaghloul, Owner and Founder of Saad Zaghloul's Society for Traditional Art, a number of faculty members, department heads, a number of artists, and a huge number of students.

Prof. Ahmed A. Gaeis, Assiut University President, met Prof Mohamed Bin Hawy Badzir, Director of the center for Training and Continuous Qualifying, Aden University, during his visit to Assiut University to discuss the possible means for cooperation and joint work.

Prof. Ahmed A. Gaeis, Assiut University President the University's Aspiration to Develop its Performance and Update its Programs in order to properly qualify its students for labor market. The President assures that Assiut University is distinguished among Egyptian and Arab Universities by its long history and advanced scientific facilities in addition to the number of private educational programs in a number of Faculties such as Pharmacy, Commerce, Engineering, Law, and Arts; a matter that helps in attracting a large number international undergraduate and graduate students.

Assiut University received the team representing the Unit for Projects Management, Ministry of Higher Education.The team was headed by Dr. Iman Al-Hadidy, Expert at the Unit for Project Management, included Dr. Mahmoud Wafiq, Dr Usama Galal, and Dr. Farahat Saad. The team arrives to follow-up the achievements done in the executive plan of the projects and the university hospital labs, the labs of the Faculties of Medicine, Vet. Medicine, Agriculture, and South Egypt Cancer Institute.

Dr Mostafa Al-Sharqawi, Dean of South Egypt Cancer Institute announces the receipt of the apparatus for passing samples the value of which exceeds the amount of LE. 600.000 (Six Hundred Thousand Egyptian Pounds), offered by one of the supporters of the society. The apparatus is considered a backbone for processing work at the department as long as it helps in the analysis and diagnosis of cancerous samples. The development plan sponsored by the Friends society handed more 2 million Egyptian Pounds.

Prof. Tarek Al- Gammal, Assiut University Vice president for Graduate Studies and Research, esteemed the fervor of the Faculty of Specific Education and the production of its various departments including the remarkable musical and artistic activities; a matter that reflects the distinguished work and effort of experienced faculty members and talented students. The Vice President indicated that this effort must be considered as an example to be followed by other faculties, and that the University's Administration will never hesitate to sponsor and offer all possible means and facilities to assist students, upgrade their work, and develop the performance of the Faculty so that it can compete with other Egyptian Universities.
