Assiut University Announces Eligibility Requirements for Students' Accommodation at the University Hostels

Assiut University has announced the requirements and conditions demanded to accept students' applications for accommodation at the University Hostels during the academic year 2017/2018. Applications should be submitted online through the following link: http://alzahraa.mans.edu.eg/studentapplications Dr. Ahmed A. Gaeis assured that all necessary procedures and preparations are taken to accommodate students immediately and facilitate the process to provide possible opportunities for all students. He also assured that the process be done in absolute transparency and accuracy without any sort of prejudice or discrimination.

Assiut University Faculty of Fine Arts Ends Its Admission Tests on Wednesday July 19, 2017

Dr. Mansour Al-Mansi, Dean of the Faculty of Fine Arts stated that Wednesday, July 19, 2017 is the deadline of the qualifying tests demanded for students' admission and enrolment at either of the departments; Arts, or Architecture. He indicated that the tests have continued for about six hours daily during the past days under the auspices of Dr. Ahmed A. Gaeis, the University President, and Dr. Essam Zanati, Vice President for Education and Students affairs.

Assiut University Holds a Workshop to Prepare for the Second Renewal of the ISO 9001

Assiut University launched a training program to prepare for the renewal of the ISO 9001, 2015 Version. The workshop was organized by the centre for Quality and Administrative Development in collaboration with the General Administration for Organization and Management, Assiut University on 12 July. The activity is undertaken under the auspices of Dr. Ahmed A. Gaeis and it was attended by Mahmoud Bakeet, vice-general secretary and representative of high management of Quality, and Mohamed Abbas Dardeer, representative administrative and quality development.

Assiut University Signs an Agreement with the Pharmacists Syndicate to Let Utilizing the Facilities of the Olympic Village

Under the auspices of Dr. Ahmed A. Gaeis, Assiut University President, Dr. Essam Zanati, Assiut University Vice President and Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Olympic Village, together with Dr. Alaa Arafat, Professor of Pharmacy, Assiut University and Chairman of Assiut Syndicate of Pharmacists, signed an agreement of cooperation between the Olympic Village and the Pharmacists Syndicate. First Assiut University Students Delegation Arrives in Russia in a Cultural and Educational Visit

Dr. Ahmed A. Gaeis, Assiut University President, stated that the first Assiut University students' delegation of the summer of 2017 has arrived in Russia. This delegation is the ninth delegation throughout the past years within the agreements signed between Assiut University and the Russian Universities of Pyatigorsk and Dagestan. The agreements have been in effect for the past twenty years and have encouraged students exchange visits. Dr. Gaeis added that Assiut University has regularly received Russian students' delegations who come for the purpose of studying Arabic language and Islamic culture.

New appointments at the University of Assiut, which includes an agent for quality education and heads of new departments in the faculties of agriculture and social service

Faculty of Education - King Abdulaziz University - King Saud University. All the decisions in the Faculty of Agriculture appointed Dr. Nanis Hassanein Juma Hassanein Professor Department of Dairy faculty as head of the department for a period of three years, and the appointment of Dr. Mohamed Rashwan Abdel-Al, a full professor in the Department of Food Science and Technology College as a supervisor of the project for the production of food industry faculty for one year.

Assiut University Assigns Three Electronic Coordination (Tanseeq) Offices to Facilitate New Students' Registration

Dr. Essam Zanati, Vice President for Education and Students' Affairs, indicated that the University has already taken a number of precautions to facilitate the procedures for the new students. These facilities include three electronic coordination (Tanseeq) offices supervised by the university. The head office is located in the old University Campus and it includes three labs with 70 computers connected with the University's Network and empowered by three additional high-speed internet lines to overcome any casual disconnection; three printers, and waiting areas for parents. The second office is located at sector (A), and it includes 45 computers and two halls. The third office is the New Valley Office and it serves students of the New Valley region, and it has 30 computers with internet connections.
