The Community Service and Environmental Development Sector is organising a seminar titled "Contemporary Women between Present and Future". The speakers at the seminar include: Prof. Dr Mahmoud Abdel Alim, Vice President for Graduate Studies and Research; Prof. Dr Yasmin El-Kahky, Dean of the Faculty of Specific Education, Assiut; Prof. Dr Mohamed Abdel Basset, Vice Dean of the Faculty of Specific Education for Community Service and Environmental Development; Dr Marwa Mamdouh Kdwan, Rapporteur of the National Council for Women in Assiut. This will take place on Thursday, March 20, 2025, at 10:00 AM in the conference hall of the college.

Under the patronage of Professor Dr. Ahmed El-Menshawi, President of Assiut University, Professor Dr. Mahmoud Abdel-Aleem, Vice President for Community Service and Environmental Development, Professor Dr. Yasmin Al-Kahki, Dean of the Faculty of Specific Education, and Professor Dr. Mohamed Abdel-Baset, Vice Dean for Community Service and Environmental Development, the Community Service and Environmental Development Sector organised an activation seminar on the efforts of the Faculty of Specific Education in Assiut regarding the literacy project (achievements, obstacles, and solutions) on Tuesday, 18 March 2025, at 10:00 am in the Faculty's conference hall.

Under the auspices of Professor Dr Yasmin Al-Kahky, Dean of the Faculty of Specific Education in Assiut, and Professor Dr Hind Al-Yadak, Head of the Home Economics Department, Professor Dr Atteyat Ali Abdel Hakim, Assistant Professor of Clothing and Textiles in the Home Economics Department and Member of the Library Committee, held a "workshop" in collaboration with the esteemed Mrs Soumia Omar Ahmed, Director of the Student Library, and the esteemed Mrs Florence Gabriel, Director of the Graduate Studies Library. This was for the students of the Home Economics Department at the College Library to introduce them to the most important books in the field of specialisation and how to benefit from library services and ways to search the unified electronic index of the Egyptian University Libraries federation. Under the patronage of Professor Dr. Yasmin Al-Kahki, Dean of the Faculty of Specific Education, and Dr. Saad Hassan Mohieddin, Director of the Electronic Unit at the college, the Electronic Unit organised a seminar entitled "Preparing Youth for the Job Market". The seminar was presented by Professor Dr. Yasmin Ahmed Al-Kahki, Professor of Clothing and Textiles and Dean of the Faculty of Specific Education in Assiut. This event took place in collaboration with the Nile Centre for Media in Assiut and the Technological Services Unit at the college, on Monday, 17 March 2025, in the college conference hall at 9 am. The seminar covered: - Preparing youth for the job market - Challenges facing the job market - Essential skills required in the modern job market - Skill acquisition (education and training) - Gaining practical experience - The role of educational institutions in preparing youth - Building a CV and preparing for interviews - The role of government and the private sector in supporting and preparing youth - Success stories of youth who were prepared and entered the job market - Recommendations.

This took place on Thursday, March 13, 2025. In an atmosphere of love, brotherhood, friendship, and cooperation that brought together all members of the college during the annual collective Iftar meal, everyone participated in distributing dates and juices to passersby and travelers in front of the college before the call to prayer, with the intention of breaking the fast for those who were fasting. Then, the distinguished attendees celebrated after breaking the fast with various programs, segments, and special Ramadan competitions in science, art, and sports, and the celebrations included religious supplications, chants, and Ramadan songs.

The seminar will be lectured by Prof. Dr. Yasmin Ahmed Al-Kahki, Professor of Clothing and Textile and Dean of the College of Specific Education in Assiut. This is part of the cooperation between the Nile Media Center in Assiut and the Technological Services Unit at the college. It will take place on Monday, March 17, 2025, in the conference hall of the college at 9 AM.
