Under the patronage of Professor Dr. Ahmed El-Menshawy, President of Asyut University, and Professor Dr. Ahmed Abdel-Mawla, Vice President of the University for Educational and Student Affairs, and Professor Dr. Yasmin El-Kahky, Dean of the College of Specific Education, male and female students from the College of Specific Education participated in the Student Activities Festival under the slogan 'Preserving the Environment,' organized by the Faculty of Arts at the level of the university's colleges from February 22 to February 23, 2025. The students of the college achieved many first places at the level of the university's colleges in all areas of participation. Student Mustafa Mohamed Khalaf won first place in Solo Singing. Student Shahd Farghaly Abdel-Barr won first place in Religious Chanting. Student Israa Emad Abdel-Karim won first place in Scouting. Student Fatima Ayman Mustafa also won first place in Scouting. Student Mariam Ishaq Abdo won third place in Table Tennis. Student Anhi Ashraf Abdo won third place in Chess. The Dean of the College extended her heartfelt congratulations to our winning students in the competition and expressed her thanks and appreciation to Ms. Ghada Wahid, Director of Student Care, and all those responsible for student activities in the administration, with our best wishes for everyone to continue.

Under the sponsorship of Professor Dr. Yasmin El-Kahki, Dean of the Faculty of Specific Education, and Dr. Saad Hassan Mohi El-Din, Director of the Electronic Unit at the college, the Electronic Unit organized a workshop titled "Electronic Marketing for Small Projects". The workshop was presented by the international certified trainer, Dr. Abdu'l-Qader Ali Ahmed, on Sunday, February 23, 2025. The workshop covered the following topics:- The importance of electronic marketing for small projects- What electronic marketing is- Advantages of electronic marketing- Types of electronic marketing- How to work in electronic marketing- Marketing via social media pages- Designing, managing, and optimizing websites.The Dean praised the workshop, its distinguished content, and its significance for our sons and daughters who are planning to establish small projects in the field of electronic marketing. She also expressed her sincere thanks and appreciation to Dr. Abdu'l-Qader Ali Ahmed for the excellent workshop.

Under the patronage of Professor Dr. Yasmin Al-Kahky, Dean of the Faculty of Specific Education, and Professor Dr. Hind Al-Yadak, Head of the Department of Home Economics, and Dr. Saad Hassan Mohi Al-Din, Director of the E-Unit at the college, the E-Unit organized a workshop titled "Healthy Nutrition Methods During Ramadan". The workshop was presented by Dr. Duaa Abdel Hamid Mustafa Zaid, a lecturer in Nutrition and Food Science in the Department of Home Economics. This took place on Sunday, February 23, 2025. The workshop addressed the following topics: - Benefits of fasting for the body and health. - How to have a healthy iftar. - Suhoor as a main meal and its importance. - How to plan a diet for a healthy suhoor. - How to avoid thirst while fasting. - The most common health issues during fasting and ways to avoid them through healthy nutrition. The Dean of the college praised the workshop and its distinctive content, especially as we approach the blessed month of Ramadan, and she expressed her heartfelt thanks and appreciation to Dr. Duaa Abdel Hamid and the Department of Home Economics for their continued cooperation with the E-Unit at the college.

The competition is divided into two main pathways that allow students to express their ideas and talents, namely: Short Film Production, which includes documentaries, short narrative films, animation films, and Digital Media, which includes digital journalism (such as journalistic websites and digital magazines), digital advertising (Reels), talk shows, and integrated marketing campaigns, with the aim of enabling participants to present creative content that reflects their abilities in their fields.

The event was attended by Professor Dr. Wajdi Rifaat Farid, former Dean of the College, Professor Dr. Nariman Said Ishaq, Vice Dean for Graduate Studies and Research, and Professor Dr. Mohamed Abdel-Basit, Vice Dean for Community Service and Environmental Development, Professor Dr. Hala Salah El-Din Abdel-Sattar, Head of the Department of Art Education, along with many faculty members and their assistants in the Department of Art Education. Professor Dr. Yasmin El-Kahky, Dean of the Faculty of Specific Education in Assiut, participated with Professor Dr. Mostafa Kamal - President of Badr University, Professor Dr. Essam Zanaty - Vice President of the University for Educational and Student Affairs, Professor Dr. Salwa Mahmoud, Dean of the Faculty of Applied Arts, and Mr. Yassin Khalaf Mahmoud, responsible for the artistic activity at the university, in the opening of the art exhibition for Badr University students under the title (Creativity in a Changing Time).
