The Industrial Pharmacy Department Council will hold its regular monthly meeting number (363) on Thursday 17/4/2014 at 11 AM.

The Faculty of Pharmacy council will hold its monthly meeting on Sunday 20/4/2014 at 11 AM in the Hall of Faculty Council, 5th  floor, administrative building.

Prof. Dr. Zedan Z. Ibraheim – Dean of the Faculty of Pharmacy, Assiut University – invites faculty members and students to participate in the Annual Scientific Conference of the Faculty for the academic year 2013/2014, which will be held on Sunday 27/4/2014 at 11.00 O’clock in celebrations Hall building (B). The conference will discuss topics related to educational and research affairs in the light of the recommendations of the scientific conferences of the departments.

During its meeting number (604) held on 16/3/2014, the Faculty of Pharmacy Council approved granting Pharmacist Seham Mina Armanyous, Demonstrator, Department of Pharmaceutical Analytical Chemistry, Faculty of Pharmacy, Assiut University, spousal leave for six months starting from 30/3/2014 to 30/9/2014.

During its meeting number (604) held on 16/3/2014, the Faculty of Pharmacy Council approved granting extension of study leave to Pharmacist Islam Ahmed Mohamed El-Awaad, Assistant Lecturer, Department of Pharmacognosy, Faculty of Pharmacy, Assiut University, and member of the Egyptian program of the German long-term, to get a doctorate degree from Germany for six months starting 1/4/2014.

During its meeting number (604) held on 16/3/2014, the Faculty of Pharmacy Council approved extending the study leave of Pharmacist Waled Aly Mahmoud El-Gaher, Assistant Lecturer, Department of Pharmaceutical Organic Chemistry, Faculty of Pharmacy, Assiut University, and member of the grant (GERLS) provided by the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD) in collaboration with the Ministry of Higher Education, for a period of one year starting from 1/4/2014 to complete his doctoral studies at the Faculty of Natural Sciences and Technology III, University of Saarland, Germany.

During its meeting number (604) held on 16/3/2014, the Faculty of Pharmacy Council approved extending the study leave of Pharmacist Azza Hesham Mansour, Assistant Lecturer, Department of Pharmaceutical Analytical Chemistry, Faculty of Pharmacy, Assiut University, and member of the study leave Germany and winning a scholarship program Egyptian-German long-term, to get a doctorate degree for one year starting 1/4/2014.

During its meeting number (604) held on 16/3/2014, the Faculty of Pharmacy Council approved extending the joint supervision mission of Pharmacist Marwa Refat Mohamed El-Zohary, Assistant Lecturer, Department of Pharmaceutical Analytical Chemistry, Faculty of Pharmacy, Assiut University, and member of the Joint Supervision Mission in Austria, for two months without pay starting 17/6/2014.

During its meeting number (604) held on 16/3/2014, the Faculty of Pharmacy Council approved the visit of Professor Dr. Sozan Shawky Tous, Emeritus Professor, Department of  Pharmaceutics, Faculty of Pharmacy, Assiut University, to the University of Philadelphia, USA during the month of May 2014. Prof. Tous will follow the progress of Pharmacist Mariam Fawzy Boshra, Assistant Lecturer, Department of Pharmaceutics, Faculty of Pharmacy, Assiut University, and a member of the joint supervision mission in the University of Philadelphia.

During its meeting number (604) held on 16/3/2014, the Faculty of Pharmacy Council has recommended awarding Pharmacist Abdel-Rahman Mohamed Mahmoud, Demonstrator, Department of Pharmaceutical Organic Chemistry, Faculty of Pharmacy, Assiut University [candidate of Master’s Degree in Pharmaceutical Sciences (Pharmaceutical Organic Chemistry)], Master’s Degree in Pharmaceutical Sciences (Pharmaceutical Organic Chemistry), after reviewing the reports of the thesis defense committee, the resolution of the Pharmaceutical Organic Chemistry Department Council and recommendation of the Faculty Graduate Studies Committee.
