During its meeting number (603) held on 16/2/2014 the Faculty of Pharmacy council has approved to extend the joint supervision mission of Pharmacist Ahmed Mohamed Zahir Shaikhoon - Assistant Lecturer, Department of Pharmacognosy, Faculty of Pharmacy, Assiut University and a member of the joint mission - University of Auburn United States of America - the sixth five-year plan for missions 2007/2012 fifth year 2011/2012 for a second year as of 1/7/2014.

During its meeting number (603) held on 16/2/2014 the Faculty of Pharmacy council has  agreed to grant Pharmacist Mohamed Khalifa Abdel Gaber - Assistant Lecturer,  Department of Medicinal Chemistry, Faculty of Pharmacy, Assiut University – a study leave with salary for one year as of April 2014, where he obtained a grant from the Japanese government (MEXT scholarship (monbukagakusho) for 2014) to study for a Ph.D. Degree in Pharmaceutical Sciences (Pharmaceutical Medicinal Chemistry) for a period of three years at the expense of the Government of Japan.

During its meeting number (603) held on 16/2/2014, the Faculty of Pharmacy Council has recommended awarding Pharmacist Wesam Mohamed Samy, (registered from outside), Department of Pharmaceutical Analytical Chemistry, Faculty of Pharmacy, Assiut University [candidate of Master’s Degree in Pharmaceutical Sciences (Pharmaceutical Analytical Chemistry)], Master’s Degree in Pharmaceutical Sciences (Pharmaceutical Analytical Chemistry) after reviewing the reports of the thesis defense committee, the resolution of the Pharmaceutical Analytical Chemistry Department Council and recommendation of the Faculty Graduate Studies Committee.

The Faculty of Pharmacy council approved during its meeting number (603) held on 16/2/2014 the appointment of Pharmacist Zain El-Abdeen Hasseb Mohamed as an Assistant Lecturer in the Department of Medicinal Chemistry.  Pharmacist Zain El-Abdeen Hasseb is committed to perform his duties and he was not a subject of any disciplinary sanctions.
