The Pharmaceutical Organic Chemistry Department Council will hold its regular monthly meeting number (307) on Monday, 10/2/2014 at 12 PM. 

The graduate studies committee will hold its monthly meeting on Tuesday 11/2/2014 at 10 AM in the office of Vice Dean for Graduate Studies and Research Affairs.

The cultural relations committee will hold its monthly meeting on Tuesday 11/2/2014 at 12 PM in the office of Vice Dean for Graduate Studies and Research Affairs.

The executive committee of the Assiut University 9th International Pharmaceutical Sciences Conference will hold a meeting on Thursday 13/2/2014 at 11 AM on the invitation of Prof. Dr. Zedan Z. Ibraheim, Dean and President of the Conference, Prof. Dr. Hassan F. Askal, Vice Dean for Graduate Studies and Research Affairs and the Secretary General of the Conference. The meeting will take place at the Hall of Faculty Council, fifth floor (administrative building).

The education and students affairs committee will hold its monthly meeting on Wednesday 12/2/2014 at 11 AM in the office of Vice Dean for Education and Student Affairs.

During its meeting number (602) held on 19/1/2014 the Faculty of Pharmacy Council approved granting Pharmacist Shaheer Maher Gerges, Assistant Lecturer, Department of Pharmaceutics, Faculty of Pharmacy, Assiut University a joint supervision mission to Australia for one year subject to renewal upon the nomination of Missions Department, Ministry of Higher Education.  The mission is part of the fifth year plan (2011/2012) of the sixth five-year plan (2007-2012). Currently, Pharmacist Shaheer  has a personal scholarship offered by King Abdulaziz City for Science and Technology to study in Belgium until July 13, 2014.

During its meeting number (602) held on 19/1/2014, the Faculty of Pharmacy Council has approved extending the mission of Pharmacist Sahar Badr Hassan Khalil, Assistant Lecturer, Department of Clinical Pharmacy, Faculty of Pharmacy, Assiut University and a member of external mission in England until 31 March 2014 based on the letter sent from the Egyptian Cultural Office in England.

During its meeting number (602) held on 19/1/2014, the Faculty of Pharmacy Council has recommended awarding Pharmacist Zain El-Abdeen Hasseb Mohamed, Demonstrator, Department of Medicinal Chemistry, Faculty of Pharmacy, Assiut University [candidate of Master’s Degree in Pharmaceutical Sciences (Pharmaceutical Medicinal Chemistry)], Master’s Degree in Pharmaceutical Sciences (Pharmaceutical Medicinal Chemistry) after reviewing the reports of the thesis defense committee, the resolution of the Medicinal Chemistry Department Council and recommendation of the Faculty Graduate Studies Committee.

During its meeting number (602) held on 19/1/2014, the Faculty of Pharmacy Council has recommended awarding Pharmacist Reem Yousef Shaheen, (registered from abroad), Department of Pharmaceutical Analytical Chemistry, Faculty of Pharmacy, Assiut University [candidate of Master’s Degree in Pharmaceutical Sciences (Pharmaceutical Analytical Chemistry)], Master’s Degree in Pharmaceutical Sciences (Pharmaceutical Analytical Chemistry) after reviewing the reports of the thesis defense committee, the resolution of the Pharmaceutical Analytical Chemistry Department Council and recommendation of the Faculty Graduate Studies Committee.

During its meeting number (602) held on 19/1/2014, the Faculty of Pharmacy Council has recommended awarding Pharmacist Marwa Ahmed Sayed, (registered from abroad), Department of Industrial Pharmacy, Faculty of Pharmacy, Assiut University [candidate of Master’s Degree in Pharmaceutical Sciences (Industrial Pharmacy)], Master’s Degree in Pharmaceutical Sciences (Industrial Pharmacy) after reviewing the reports of the thesis defense committee, the resolution of the Industrial Pharmacy Department Council and recommendation of the Faculty Graduate Studies Committee.
