Objectives of the Institute

1. Providing distinguished educational programs locally and regionally in the field of interdisciplinary sciences and molecular biology.
2. Providing the elements of scientific research and advanced capabilities to keep pace with the urgent requirements in the field of molecular biology.
3. Preparing qualified scientific cadres to keep pace with the development in scientific research inside and outside the university.
4. Contribute to the rehabilitation of cadres capable of keeping pace with the evolving needs of the labor market.
5. Work to encourage international publishing in a way that raises the status of the university regionally and internationally.
6. Providing community services that contribute to solve the problems of the environment and the surrounding community.

Academic standards adopted

The National Academic Reference Standards (NARS) issued by the National Authority for Quality Assurance and Accreditation of Education in 2009 were adopted as a basis for preparing the educational programs included in the current list of postgraduate studies by the credit hour system.
