"Electronic Employment Sites and Their Importance for Teachers - Market Yourself"

The seminar provided distinguished information presented by Professor Dr. Ghada Al-Washahi, Assistant Professor of Principles of Education and Educational Planning, who reviewed the importance of online employment sites and how teachers can effectively market themselves and open up new horizons and promising opportunities in the local and regional job market.

The seminar was held under the supervision of Professor Dr. Amani Mohamed Sharif, Vice Dean for Community Service Affairs,

and was organized and supervised by Dr. Afaf Marei, Director of the College of Education Alumni Unit.

As part of the ongoing efforts to improve services provided to the university and local communities, the Board of Directors of the Public Service Center at the Faculty of Education held its first meeting following its new formation. The meeting was chaired by Professor Hassan Huwail, Dean of the Faculty and Chairman of the Board of Directors, and attended by Professor Amani Mohamed Sherif, Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors and Vice Dean for Community Service Affairs, and Professor Zakaria Jaber Hanawi, Director of the Center.

The meeting discussed the Center's future plan and its effective role in serving students and members of the university and local communities. This is achieved by organizing a distinguished group of training courses in the fields of human and professional development, with a focus on digital transformation programs that qualify students, researchers, and faculty members to keep pace with modern requirements.

The Center also offers digital transformation exams and certification accredited by the Supreme Council of Universities, as part of its efforts to support and qualify young people and enhance their opportunities in the labor market.

A Cybersecurity Workshop at the Faculty of Education, Assiut University

As part of Assiut University's commitment to supporting digital transformation and enhancing cybersecurity awareness, and in light of the state's efforts to build a secure digital society, the Training and Professional Development Unit, in cooperation with the Crisis Unit at the Faculty of Education, organized a workshop entitled:

"Cybersecurity and Its Applications in the Academic and Educational Environment." The workshop was held under the patronage of Professor Ahmed El-Menshawy, President of the University, and Professor Hassan Howail, Dean of the Faculty of Education.

The workshop was attended by:

Professor Dr. Howayda Mohamed Sayed, Director of the Training and Professional Development Unit

Dr. Hanaa Farghali, Director of the Crisis Unit

The workshop was presented by Professor Dr. Marian Milad, Professor of Educational Technology at the Faculty of Education. She addressed the concepts and challenges of cybersecurity, its most important practical applications in educational contexts, and presented models and strategies for maintaining information security in academic institutions.

The workshop witnessed active participation from a large number of young faculty members, who showed great interest in the content presented and engaged fruitfully in the discussions.

This workshop reflects the active role of the Faculty of Education at Assiut University in promoting digital awareness and building a safe educational environment that keeps pace with modern developments.
