A workshop on admission systems and policies for admission to university diplomas and programs

Under the patronage of Prof. Adel Rasmi Hammad Al-Najdi, Dean of the College and Chairman of the Quality Assurance Unit, the Quality Assurance and Accreditation Unit was held in cooperation with the College's Agency for Graduate Studies and Research, represented by Prof. Dr. Ali Kamal Abed, Vice Dean for Graduate Studies and Research at the College. With the university's diplomas and study programs on Monday, June 26, 2018 at 10 am in the hall of Prof. Rajai Al-Tahlawi in the fourth floor of the faculty members building. 33 members of the Graduate Studies Department and the Quality Assurance Unit attended the college.Dr. Hamdy Mohammed Al-Bitar, Director of the Quality Assurance Unit at the College, explained that it is necessary to know the admission policies and conditions for admission to diplomas and postgraduate programs at the college, especially that the college offers many programs, including the general diploma program, one year system for full-time students, , Professional diploma and special diploma, special diploma programs in special education, master's and doctorate programsProf. Ali Kamal, Vice Dean of Graduate Studies and Research at the College, stressed the importance of the workshop especially in the coming period. The College is preparing to receive the postgraduate students' applications for the academic year 2018/2019. To accept the files of the university diploma and postgraduate programsDr. Abdel-Azim Abdel-Meguid, Director of the Graduate Studies Department, explained the rules, conditions and rules of admission in postgraduate studies with emphasis on compliance with the text of the University Organizing Law and the approval of the working party for registration from the Director General of Educational Administration.The most important recommendations of the workshop were:1. The necessity of adhering to the text of the law governing the organization of universities on the registration of diplomas, master's degrees and doctorates. Article 189, 192, 193 of the executive regulations of the law.2. The obligation to abide by the provisions of Law 127 of 1980 on military service and the approval of the commander of the unit for the enrollment of conscripts.3. Prof. Ahmed Abdu Jaeis, President of Assiut University, announced the start of the study with four new study groups at the Faculty of Education in Assiut for the first time starting from the next academic year 2018/2019, which includes the Mathematics Division in English, the English Language Division, the English Language Teacher Division for private and international schools, Which comes within the framework of the University's plan to provide new and advanced study programs that meet the needs of the labor market.Professor Adel Al-Najdi, Dean of the Faculty of Education in Assiut, revealed that the special study programs reflect the development of the educational services offered to the students to prepare a graduate with the highest level of skill and training to compete strongly in the labor market and meet his unique needs.He pointed out that the special programs offered recently include the preparation of teachers of science and mathematics materials and English language for private schools, which are offered by the system of credit hours and financial expenses and provided by the student through registration in the internal coordination after admission to the college through the coordination of the secondary school, and begin to enroll in those programs starting from the band The first, for a period of four years, includes eight semesters.
