The Faculty of Education, Assiut University, organized on Sunday, April 23, 2018 Symposium under the title  Experience the evacuation of the administrative building in the event of crises and disastersUnder the auspices of Prof. Dr. Ahmed Abdo Jaeis, President of Assiut UniversityIn the presence of Prof. Dr. Adel Najdi Dean of the CollegeDr. Emad Ahmed Hassan, Vice Dean for Community Service and Environmental DevelopmentAnd Dr. Amani Al-Sharif, Director of the Disaster and Crisis Management Unit at the CollegeAnd a number of professors, employees and workers. During the seminar, Major General Abdulrahman Sari, security advisor to the University of Assiut, talked about how to behave properly in the event of disasters or crises and security requirements in the facilities that protect them from disasters and introduced some types of fire and how to extinguish each fire as appropriate. Major General Abdul Rahman Ali stressed the importance of safety measures to avoid fires and then some incidents were presented. The most important of these incidents were the fire incident at the Beni Suef Cultural Palace, which claimed the lives of more than 60 people and the circumstances of the accident and its security and safety requirements. Dr. Adel Al-Najdi, Dean of the Faculty of Education, said that those responsible for the security and safety requirements at the college are making a great effort to ensure the security procedures at the college, adding that the potential of the University of Assiut exceeds the potential of any university in Egypt in the field of security and safety. It is enough that Assiut University is the only university with a special Out. At the end of the seminar, a practical statement was made on how to deal with fire extinguishers in the event of fires and how to evacuate facilities to avoid loss of life and property.

Will be launched on Monday, April 23, 2018, Faculty of Education, Assiut University,Annual Scientific Conference for Postgraduate Studies Under the title «Graduate Studies Reality and Prospects for Development».The conference will discuss several axes: «Research plan for the college, achievements achieved by the university graduate sector from 2014 to 2018, open discussion on the issues and problems facing scientific research and the proposed solutions to solve».Professor Adel Al-Najdi, Dean of the Faculty of Education and President of the Conference, said that the College has devised a plan to establish an era of scientific conferences in the different departments in all its specialties, with the aim of creating a breakthrough in the field of scientific research in the college.Prof. Ali Kamal Maabed, Vice Dean for Graduate Studies and Vice President of the Conference, added that the aim of the conference is to present visions, ideas and projects that contribute to the development of postgraduate studies in the Faculty of Education in the light of global changes.Professor Ahmed Hussein Abdul Muti, Head of the Department of Educational Resources and Conference Rapporteur, stressed that the conferences organized by the College are of great importance in informing the professors and researchers on the latest developments in the scientific field, which will have a positive impact in achieving a scientific renaissance in the college.

Seminar on "Academic Standards and Characterization of Programs and Courses and Preparation of Their Reports" at the Quality Assurance Unit, Faculty of Education, Assiut University, Tuesday, May 15, 2018, at 12:00 pm, in a lecture by Dr. Rajai El-Tahlawi in the fourth floor.The Quality Assurance and Accreditation Unit, headed by Prof. Dr. Adel Rasmi Hammad Al-Najdi, Dean of the College, held a seminar entitled "Academic Standards and Description of Programs and Courses and Preparation of Reports for Bachelor's, Bachelor's and Postgraduate Studies" on Tuesday, 15/5/2018 at 12:00 pm. In the fourth floor is built faculty members of the faculty, has attended (25) members of the faculty members and their assistants from the College.Mr. Adel Hammad Al-Najdi welcomed the attendance of the faculty members and their assistants. He stressed the importance of the symposium and the characterization of the programs and courses and preparing them, especially in the current stage, which the College seeks to renew accreditation for the college.Dr. Hamdy Mohammed Al-Bitar, Director of Quality Assurance Unit, Dr. Jamal Hassan Al Sayed, Deputy Director of Quality Assurance Unit, and General Coordinator of Program Descriptions presented the academic standards of the College and the programs and the decisions and how to prepare their reports and models according to the quality document approved by the Commission. Any of the criteria adopted with the learning outcomes targeted for the educational program, and in conformity with the objectives of the program and the intended learning outcomes. In the end, the recommendations were formulated by Prof. Dr. Hassan Mohamed Huwail, head of the standard of academic standards and study programs at the College as follows:1. Review the characterization of programs and decisions and ensure that the standard matrices are aligned with the targeted learning outcomes and decisions2 - Emphasize the work of the reports of programs and decisions after the emergence of the result of students in the program3 - Review the description of programs and courses at the College of internal and external auditors
