Important Announcement for All International Students

The Faculty of Dentistry asks all its international students to pay their club fees and CD fees as soon as possible in order to receive their student ID cards.

Students who fail to pay their fees will be subjected to disciplinary action.

The FDI World Dental Federation invites all university students to participate in World Oral Health Day on Thursday, March 7, 2024. This event aims to enhance their awareness of the significance of dental care.

 

Appointments and Assignments: Medical Graduates of 2021 at University Dental Hospital

The committee for writing preferences for the fifth batch of 2021 medical graduates convened on Monday, March 4th. The purpose of this meeting was to appoint residents in clinical departments at the University Dental Hospital to the position of resident dentists, and to assign academic assistants in the college’s academic departments. The members of the committee were: Prof./ Safaa Tohamy, Dean of the Faculty, Prof/ Heba Rashed, Vice Dean for Community Services and Environmental Development, and Prof./ Muhammad Nahed, Head of Assiut Dental Hospital.

Rescheduling Orthodontic Lecture for 4th Year Students

.

Dr. Ahmad Ismail's Orthodontic lecture for fourth-year students, originally scheduled for [March 6,2024], has been rescheduled due to unforeseen health reasons. The rescheduled lecture will be held on Sunday, March 10, 2024, in Hall 1. We wish Dr. Ismail a speedy recovery and look forward to seeing you all in Hall 1 on March 10th.

 

Biochemistry exam Details for 2nd Year Students

The Biochemistry exam for second-year students will be held on Sunday, March 25, 2024. The exam will consist of Multiple-Choice Questions (MCQs) worth a total of 15 marks. The following topics will be covered:

  • Protein: individual amino acid
  • Carbs
  • Lipids
  • Lipid chemistry
  • Lipid digestion and absorption
  • Rancidity
  • Lipolysis
  • Fatty acid oxidation
