The final match of the five-a-side championship among faculties of Dentistry in Assiut University ended on Thursday 22 February 2024 in the playground of Faculty of Physical education. The winners were as follows:

The championship trophy was presented to the first-place team, and medals, prizes, and souvenirs were distributed to the winning teams, faculty members, and the supervisory committee.
Assiut University Faculty of Dentistry Secures Third Place in National Adex Cup Competition!
The Faculty of Dentistry at Assiut University won third place in the Republic in the (IDEX Cup) competition for outstanding students, with the participation of the faculties of dentistry in Egyptian public, private, and national universities.
The competition was held on the sidelines of the 8th edition of the International Dental Conference and Exhibition (IDEX) from February 21, 2024, to February 23, 2024, at the Intercontinental City Stars Hotel.
Exploratory Trip to Fayoum City for Dentistry Students

The Faculty of Dentistry Student Union organized an exploratory trip to Fayoum City on Friday, February 16, 2024. The students visited Madoura Mountain, Wadi El Rayan Waterfalls, and the Sand Mountains in a fun and educational experience. |
The trip was expertly guided by Dr. Islam Omar Khalil, a lecturer in Fixed Prosthetics, Dr. Ahmed Yasser, a Demonstrator in Prosthetic Dentistry, and student Muhammad Safwat Ahmad, representing the Student Union.

The Continuing Education Unit will organize a scientific day for staff members on Thursday 29 February 2024, entitled “Shifting from 3D to 5D: Implant Surgical Guide Workflow” delivered by Dr. Ali Fahd, Associate Professor of Oral and Maxillofacial Radiology in the Russian University, in the Thesis Defense Hall.
