Building the Future: A Competition to Encourage Students to Visit National Projects
Upon the directives of the Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research regarding the importance of supporting university youth and the role of student activities, the Faculty of Dentistry at Assiut University is announcing a competition titled "Building the Future."
The competition aims to encourage students to conduct field visits to national projects across the republic by creating:
- Presentations
- Magazines and newspapers
- Artistic and creative works
- Documentary films
on the following topics:
- The New Administrative Capital
- Industrial cities
- Development of the Egyptian countryside
- Infrastructure and transportation networks

Dentistry Students Attended 3rd Regional SDC Conference in Sohag
The Faculty of Dentistry students attended the 3rd Regional Conference of the Sohag Dentists Syndicate. The conference was held on Thursday and Friday, January 25-26, 2024, at the Nile Hall of the Engineers Club under the title "THE 3RD REGIONAL SDC." The visit was under the auspicious of Prof./ Saffa Tohamy, Dean of the Faculty, Prof./ Muhammad Badawy, Vice Dean for Education and Student Affairs, Dr. Zain Shatat, and Dr. Asmaa Desouky.

Seminar on Safe Handling of Medical Waste
The Faculty of Dentistry held a seminar on the safe handling of medical waste on Wednesday, January 24, 2024 on the fifth floor. The seminar was delivered by Mostafa Abd El-Maged, environment researcher, and Mr. Muhammad El-Sherbany, media specialist.
The attendees were Prof./ Safaa Tohamy, Dean of the Faculty, Prof./ Muhammad Badawy, Vice Dean for Education and Student Affairs, Prof./ Muhammad Nahed, Head of Assiut Dental Hospital, nursing staff, safety and occupational health professionals, hospital workers.
