A Memo of Understanding between Assiut University and
The Islamic Universities Association

Assiut University Council approved a memorandum of understanding between the university and the Islamic Universities Association. The university approves the memo out of its keenness on developing relationships with the different universities and educational institutions in the various Arab universities and intensifying joint scientific and academic ties and expertise.  Prof. Gaeis indicated that the memo includes different fields of cooperation in all Scientific and cultural programs, prospects of exchange visits of Faculty members from different academic majors, and exchanging scientific journals and periodical. The memo is valid for three years effective of its date of signature.

Assiut University Council Approves two Understanding Memos with King Faisal University, Chad

    In its latest session headed by Prof. Ahmed A. Gaeis, the Assiut University Council approved two Understanding Memos between Assiut University and King Faisal University, Chad. The two memos insure the university's awareness to support and develop the horizons of cooperation and scientific and cultural exchange between the two universities and all Arab and International universities.

Memo of Understanding for Scientific Exchange and joint work between Assiut University and Mexican Sinaloa University

In its session headed by Dr. Ahmed A. Gaeis, Assiut University Council approved the Memo of understanding between Assiut University and Mexican Sinaloa University. The University President said that the Memo is valid for five years and its articles include all means of facilitating and developing ties between the two universities in academic and scientific fields in addition to the development of research activities and exchange of visits between faculty members and students. Moreover, the memo includes other articles concerning scientific visits and exchange of educational and scientific information, joint conferences, seminars, forums, lectures, and various research projects to cope with the plan of enhancement of scientific research.

The Union is at Risk: A Warning Cry emitted by Assiut University Students during the ending proceedings of the European Union Simulation Praxis

Assiut University ended the proceedings of the European Union Simulation forum organized by the Faculty of Commerce in its third form under the title: "the Union at Risk". The closing session came with a number of recommendations concerning the problem of refugees, the withdrawal of the UK from the Union. As for the issue of refugees, the session concluded with the necessity of prompt execution of a work plan and smart cooperation between the European Union and Turkey in addition to fair distribution of all who ask for refuge in the union to lessen the pressure on such countries receiving futures refugees.
