Assiut University Announces the Issuing of 64 Research papers and 13 Workshops in its 7th International Conference of Integrated Medicine Held in Cairo and Sudan.

President of Badr University in Cairo, and Former President of Assiut University, Dr. Mustafa Kamal, announced the intensification of the preparations for the launch of the Seventh International Conference scheduled for next November. The conference is to be held between Cairo and Khartoum, under the patronage of the Ministers of Higher Education and Health from the Egyptian and Sudanese parties, in cooperation with a number of Egyptian and Sudanese universities. Dr. Suzanne Salama announced that the conference includes 64 research papers and 13 workshops dealing with the various themes of the conference which will be presented during the conference proceedings.

Assiut University President Attends the celebration of the students of the French Center for Obtaining the International DELF certificate

During the visit of Assiut University President, Prof. Tarek El Gammal, to the French Language Studies Center, to attend the celebration of the students while receiving their international certificate (DELF), he emphasized the keenness of the university administration to support foreign language centers within the university, based upon their educational and cultural role in raising the skills of its students from within the university and the surrounding society. Dr. Tarek announced that the University is going to host the forum of the Francophone countries for the first time in the history of the University and in partnership with a number of embassies of French-speaking countries which are located in Cairo.

Prime Minister Promises to Provide Necessary Financial Resources to finish the Infrastructure of the Trauma Hospital at Assiut University

During his visit to Assiut University, HE Prime Minister, Dr. Mostafa Madbouly promised to provide the necessary financial resources to finish the infrastructure work as well as the finishing of the Injuries and Accidents Hospital in Assiut University. He also contacted the civil organizations to help provide the necessary medical equipments and devices for the operation of the hospital before the end of 2019, which would serve millions of citizens in Upper Egypt. The event was also attended by HE. Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Dr. Khaled Abdel Ghaffar, HE. Minister of Urban Development, Major General Mahmoud Shaarawy, HE. Minister of Environment, Dr. Yasmeen Fouad, HE. Assiut Governor, Major Gamal Nour El Din, Assiut University President, Prof. Tarek Al-Gammal, and Assiut University Vice President for Education and Students Affairs, Prof. Shehata Ghareeb.

Assiut University Announces: Opening of the First Bakery for Wheat Allergic Patients in the University Hospital

Prof. Ahmed Al-Menshawy, Dean of the Faculty of Medicine and Chairman of Board of Directors of the Assiut University Hospitals, announced the opening of the first bakery for wheat allergic patients. The bakery is the first of its kind to serve in-hospital or community patients who are allergic to Gluten Protein in wheat and parley.

Assiut University Launches a competition Among the University Faculties to Select the Best for the New Academic Year

Assiut University President, Prof. Tarek EL-Gammal, stated that the university will hold a competition among faculties to select the best Faculty. The competition will be undertaken by the community Service and Environment Development Sector. The competitions comes as part of the University's preparations for the new academic year 2018/2019. The completion will end before the beginning of the study calendar and the best three faculties will be honored in a festival event to be held on Sunday, 23 September 2018.

Assiut University Announces the Success of the 26th Case of Liver Transplant at Al-Rajhi University Hospital

Prof. Ahmed Al-Menshawy, Dean of the Faculty of Medicine and Chairman of the Board of Directors of Assiut University Hospitals, announced the success of two new Liver transplants. With these two cases, the number of transplants successfully done becomes 26. The two new cases have been done by a team of surgeons in collaboration with an expert from Ain Shams Hospital headed by Dr. Mahmoud Al-Meteiny. The effort assures the success of the distinguished efforts of the surgeons and nursing cadres and assistants in the hospital.
