During its meeting number 622, held on 15/9/2015, the Faculty of Pharmacy Council approved extending the study leave of Pharmacist Walid Ali Mahmoud Al-Gaher (Assistant Lecturer, Department of Pharmaceutical Organic Chemistry, Faculty of Pharmacy, Assiut University). Walid, a PhD candidate funded by the long-term Egyptian-German grant program (GERLS) in Collaboration with the Ministry of Higher Education (MHESR), was permitted a six-months starting from 1/10/2015 to complete his doctoral studies in the Faculty of Natural Sciences and Technology III, Saarland University - Germany.

During its meeting number 622, held on 15/9/2015, the Faculty of Pharmacy Council approved extending the joint supervision mission of Pharmacist Ahmed Mohamed Zaher Sheikhun (Assistant Lecturer, Department of Pharmacognosy, Faculty of Pharmacy, Assiut University) – member of joint supervision mission at United States of America (internal extension) for one year starting from 1/9/2015 or until completion of the PhD thesis.

During its meeting number 622, held on 15/9/2015, the Faculty of Pharmacy Council approved extending the joint supervision mission of Pharmacist Sheryhan Fargaly Gad Ahmed (Assistant Lecturer, Department of Pharmaceutics, Faculty of Pharmacy, Assiut University) – member of joint supervision mission at United States of America for another year starting from 1/12/2015.

During its meeting number 622, held on the 15/9/2015, the council of Faculty of Pharmacy recommended awarding the Master’s degree in Pharmaceutical Sciences (Pharmaceutics) to Pharmacist Abeer Saad Hassan Attia, after reviewing the reports of the viva examiners, the resolution by the council of Pharmaceutics Department, and the recommendation by the Faculty Graduate Studies Committee.
