The Faculty of Pharmacy council will hold its monthly meeting on Tuesday 15/9/2015 at 12 PM in the Hall of Faculty Council, 5th floor, administrative building.

During its meeting number 621, held on 23/8/2015, the Faculty of Pharmacy Council approved extending the study leave of Pharmacist Islam Ahmed Mohamed El-Awaad (Assistant Lecturer, Department of Pharmacognosy, Faculty of Pharmacy, Assiut University). Islam, a PhD candidate funded by the long term Egyptian-German grant program, was permitted a three-months extension after the fifth year starting from 1/10/2015 till end of December 2015 (his expenses in Germany to be covered by himself).

During its meeting number 621, held on the 23/8/2015, the council of Faculty of Pharmacy recommended awarding the Doctor of Philosophy degree in Pharmaceutical Sciences (Pharmaceutical Medicinal Chemistry) to Pharmacist Wesam Saber Abdel-Aal (Assistant Lecturer, Department of Medicinal Chemistry, Faculty of Pharmacy, Assiut University) after reviewing the reports of the viva examiners, the resolution by the council of Medicinal Chemistry Department.

The Pharmaceutics Department Council will hold its regular monthly meeting number (414) on Monday 5/10/2015 at 10 AM.
