The department of Curricula & Methodology council agreed in the 4th, of December, 2012 to register the research point of Nesreen Thouainy Nagm (an Iraqi researcher) for the MA degree in education, curricula and methodology of teaching psychology specialisation, entitled “ ​A Suggested Program Based on Collective Thinking in Teaching Psychology to Develop Some Social Skills and Critical Thinking for Visually-Impaired Secondary Stage Students​”. This is under the supervision of: 1- Prof. Dr. Dr. Aly Sayed Abdel-Galeel​, professor and the head of curricula and methodology department, College of Education, Assiut University 2- Dr. Shaban Abd el-Azeem Ahmed​, assistant professor of curricula and methodology of teaching psychology.  

The department of Curricula & Methodology council agreed in the 4th, of December, 2012 to enhance the supervision committee for the researcher Omayma Kamel Zain Tag el-Dien, registered for the MA degree in education, Curricula and Methodology of Teaching Instructional Technology  specialisation through removing Prof. Dr. Awad Hussein el-Todary’s name and adding Prof. Dr. Aly Sayed Abdel-Galeel. Thus the supervision committee consists of: 1- ​Prof. Dr. Aly Sayed Abdel-Galeel​, professor of curricula & methodology of instructional technology, College of Education, Assiut University 2- ​Dr. Maryan Melad Mansour​, lecturer of curricula & methodology of instructional technology, College of Education, Assiut University 

The department of Curricula & Methodology council agreed in the 4th, of December, 2012 to enhance the supervision committee for the researcher Walaa Mohamed Mahmoud Ahmad Esmael, registered for the MA degree in education, Curricula & Methodology of Teaching Arabic and Islamic Studies specialisation through adding ​Prof. Dr. Abd el-Wahhab Hashem​ and accepting ​Dr. Hanaa Abou Deif Merz​’s excuse based on her request.  Thus the supervision committee consists of: 1-​ Prof.Dr. Ahmed Mohamed Rashwan​, professor of curricula & methodology of Arabic, College of Education, Assiut University 2- ​Dr. Abdel-Wahhab Hashem​, assistant professor of curricula & methodology of Arabic, College of Education, Assiut University

The College’s council agreed number 565 held in 20th, December, 2016 to held the sixth scientific conference entitled Teacher Formation System--Challenges and Development Policies” from 11th-14th March, 2017 at Sonesta St George, Luxor.
