College council meeting

Today, Sunday, April 21, 2024, Mr. Professor Dr. Hassan Muhammad Haweel, Dean of the College, chaired the meeting of the College Council in its session held for the month of April. The Council discussed a number of issues on the agenda related to the educational and administrative process and took a set of decisions in accordance with the controls and instructions. And the powers granted, in the presence of the deputies, department heads, and members of the esteemed college council.

 

 

 

 

Creative leadership in building work relationships

Under the patronage of Professor Dr. Hassan Muhammad Haweel, Dean of the College, the Training and Professional Development Unit, in cooperation with the Quality Assurance Unit, organized two seminars entitled Creative Leadership in Building Work Relationships today, Wednesday, 4/17/2024, at the Training Unit on the second floor of the College’s administrative building, in which Prof. Dr. /Abdul Hakim Radwan, where the first symposium targeted department directors and their representatives at the college, and the second symposium targeted a group of faculty members at the college. The symposium addressed several topics, including the challenges facing creative leadership, the types of leaders, why we need creative leadership, and what are the elements of creative leadership.

Today, a master’s thesis in education was discussed, specializing in curricula and methods of teaching art education, submitted by researcher Fatima Muhammad Mahmoud Ahmed, entitled: Using the strategy of educational games in teaching art education to develop some artistic concepts and the attitude towards the subject among visually impaired students in the primary stage. The discussion and judging committee consisted of the following:

Today, Saturday, 4/20/2024, the discussion of the doctoral dissertation in education, specializing in curricula and teaching methods in educational technology, presented by the researcher / Salem Ahmed Arboud Al-Rashed, entitled Designing a mobile learning environment according to the “ARCS” motivational design model and its impact on the development of some computer skills, took place. Satisfaction with learning among fifth grade students in the State of Kuwait

The Journal of the Faculty of Education, Assiut University ranked seventh in the Arab world

Under the patronage of Professor Dr. Ahmed Al-Minshawy, President of the University, and Professor Dr. Hassan Haweel, Dean of the College

The Journal of the Faculty of Education, Assiut University, ranked seventh in the Arab world, according to the annual report on the number of most downloaded research papers on Dar Al-Mandhumah for the year 2023 AD. This contributed to Assiut University obtaining third place

Dar Al-Mandumah’s databases are the largest and direct source for research papers in Arab journals, scientific conferences, and university dissertations.

Sincere thanks and appreciation to the editorial board of the magazine and all those responsible for it.

 

A delegation of professors and students from the College of Education visits the Egyptian-Japanese School

A delegation of professors and students from the College of Education visits the Egyptian-Japanese School and attends a presentation of science fair experiments.

This came within the framework of cooperation between the Faculty of Education, Assiut University, and the Egyptian-Japanese schools in order to open new job opportunities for the college’s students. The delegation included Professor Dr. Hassan Mohamed Howail, Dean of the College, and was accompanied by Professor Dr. Mohamed Jaber, Vice Dean of the College for Education and Student Affairs, and Professor Dr. Gamal Hassan, Professor of Curricula and Methods. Teaching, Dr. Sherine Abdel Mohsen, teacher of curricula and teaching methods at the college, and a group of students from the International Schools Teacher Preparation Program and the STEM program.
