College Council meeting in its session held for May 2024

Today, Sunday, May 19, 2024, Mr. Professor Dr. Hassan Muhammad Haweel, Dean of the College, chaired the College Council meeting in its session held for the month of May. The Council discussed a number of academic and administrative issues within the College in the presence of the deputies, department heads, and members of the esteemed College Council.

 

 

 

The sixth annual scientific conference of the Fundamentals of Education Department was held

Mr. Professor Dr. Mohamed Riyad Ahmed, Vice Dean of the College for Postgraduate Studies and Research, today, Monday, 5/20/2024, the sixth annual scientific conference of the Department of Fundamentals of Education was held, entitled Developing the fields of the Department of Fundamentals of Education in light of applications of artificial intelligence. The conference discussed how artificial intelligence can contribute to Developing and improving the educational process and making it more interactive and enriching and improving the educational experience to keep pace with contemporary changes and developments and achieve the aspirations and hopes of society, in the hall of Professor Dr. Muhammad Rajaie Al-Tahlawi in the faculty building at the College of Education, in the presence of the deputies and a group of faculty members, the supporting staff, researchers and students.

The President of Assiut University announces that the Public Service Center at the Faculty of Education has obtained a certificate of accreditation from the Central Unit for Information Technology Training

Dr.. Al-Minshawy confirms Assiut University’s interest in modernizing all its centers to provide high-quality educational services in various fields of training

Dr. Ahmed El-Menshawy, President of Assiut University, announced: Obtaining the “Public Service” Center at the University’s College of Education; I have an accreditation certificate from the central unit; For training in information technology, at the Center for Electronic and Knowledge Services at the Supreme Council of Universities, as an accredited center for training and electronic tests on information technology programs and their applications approved by the Central Unit for Training in Information Technology (CUIT), under the supervision of Dr. Ashour Omari, Director of the Center for Electronic and Knowledge Services at the Supreme Council of Universities, Dr. Mohamed Hassan Jadallah, Director of the Central Unit for Information Technology Training at the Supreme Council of Universities.

Dr. Al-Minshawy presented: Congratulations to the center’s management for the outstanding effort made. To advance the center and improve it, praising the ability and efficiency of the center to provide training services. To build and develop human capabilities, in accordance with the latest local and international standards.

The President of Assiut University confirmed: The university seeks to develop and modernize all its centers and units. In line with scientific and global development and modern mechanisms, and achieves excellence and the required quality in its performance.

For his part, Dr. Hassan Haweel, Dean of the College of Education, added: The center’s obtaining the accreditation certificate; It comes as a culmination of the combined efforts of the Center family, and the great and recognized support provided by Dr. Ahmed Al-Minshawy, President of the University, and the provision of all means of support for the Center, and providing it with the latest necessary computer equipment. For training and taking digital transformation exams; To facilitate researchers and graduate students at the college and university; To achieve the university’s vision for the center to be accredited.

A workshop entitled “Communication skills with beneficiaries”

Today, Monday, May 13, 2024, a workshop was held entitled “Communication Skills with Beneficiaries,” attended by Dr. Muhammad Mamdouh Al-Safty, teacher of curricula and teaching methods at the college.

A number of college employees were trained on the elements of effective communication, the conditions that must be met by the sender and receiver of the message, and the most famous communication skills such as effective listening, empathy, respect, understanding body language, and the stages of the communication process with beneficiaries, which are the stage of understanding the message, the stage of formulating the message, the stage of choosing the communication channel, sending the message, and the stage of decoding. Message symbols and interpretation, and finally the stage of receiving feedback, analyzing it, and evaluating the communication. This is in the College’s Training and Professional Development Unit
