The Biochemistry Department at the Faculty of Medicine sincerely apologizes to all second-year students in Assiut University and Assiut National University for the cancellation of their lectures scheduled for Tuesday and Thursday. This unforeseen disruption is due to the demanding schedule of our faculty members, who are currently engaged in conducting and grading examinations for the Faculty of Medicine.

 As a part of the presidential initiative "Hayat Karima", Prof./ Mohamed Nahed Attia, Head of Assiut University Dental Hospital, has announced the deployment of medical and awareness convoys to the family health unit in the village of Al-Fattah on Wednesday, November 15, 2023. This initiative is part of an ongoing collaboration between the University Dental Hospital and the Assiut Health Directorate. Prof./ Nahed  emphasized the hospital's commitment to fulfilling its social responsibility by providing comprehensive medical and awareness services to all citizens of Upper Egypt. 

The Faculty of Dentistry organizes its inter-class Futsal tournament at Assiut University.

The Oral Surgery Department would like to apologize to 3rd-year students for canceling its lectures on Sundays, November 19 and 26, and on Wednesday 22, 2023, because of the busy schedule of the faculty members with correcting the exams.

Assiut University will organize a competition for short videos entitled,” Together”, to consolidate the authentic values of the Egyptian society.

Competition Criteria:

• The video must be no longer than one minute.
• The video must be in Arabic.
• The video must focus on one of the following topics:
  • Love of homeland
  • Respect for others
  • Tolerance
  • Cooperation
  • Helping others
  • Other authentic values that contribute to building a better society
• Students must deliver original videos and not taken from the internet.
• Students must deliver their videos on a flash memory or a CD with their contact information to the Youth Welfare Administration in the Administration Building by November 30, 2023.

  Competition Prizes:

• First place: EGP 5,000
• Second place: EGP 4,500
• Third place: EGP 4,000
• Fourth place: EGP 3,500
• Fifth place: EGP 3,000
• Sixth place: EGP 2,500
• Seventh place: EGP 2,000
• Eighth place: EGP 1,500
• Ninth place: EGP 1,000
• Tenth place: EGP 1,000
