Assiut University will organize a competition for short videos entitled,” Together”, to consolidate the authentic values of the Egyptian society.

Competition Criteria:

• The video must be no longer than one minute.
• The video must be in Arabic.
• The video must focus on one of the following topics:
  • Love of homeland
  • Respect for others
  • Tolerance
  • Cooperation
  • Helping others
  • Other authentic values that contribute to building a better society
• Students must deliver original videos and not taken from the internet.
• Students must deliver their videos on a flash memory or a CD with their contact information to the Youth Welfare Administration in the Administration Building by November 30, 2023.

  Competition Prizes:

• First place: EGP 5,000
• Second place: EGP 4,500
• Third place: EGP 4,000
• Fourth place: EGP 3,500
• Fifth place: EGP 3,000
• Sixth place: EGP 2,500
• Seventh place: EGP 2,000
• Eighth place: EGP 1,500
• Ninth place: EGP 1,000
• Tenth place: EGP 1,000
• The Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research reserves the right to use the winning videos for promotional purposes.

Egypt's Ministry of Emigration and Egyptian Expatriate Affairs, in collaboration with the Ministry of Culture, has launched the fourth edition of the Young Creator competition, which offers four prizes of EGP 40,000 each. The Continuing Education Unit organized a seminar entitled, “Dangers of Smoking”, on Sunday 12, 2023 at 9:30 a.m. in the Thesis Defense Hall on the fifth floor. Dr./ Rahma Gamal Mostafa, Lecturer in the Pathology Department in the Faculty of Dentistry, and Dr./ Aya Atef Farouk Elqarn, lecturer in the Public Health Department in the Faculty of Medicine delivered the seminar.

The Faculty of Dentistry would like to congratulate the third-year student/ Ahmad Esmat Abu Elhagag for winning the third place in the grand spiritual competition in Quran memorization at Assiut University.

The Continuing Education Unit held its scientific day along with the Fixed Prosthodontics department entitled, “Laminate Veneer through Digital Workflow and Scanning”- live Demo for Scanning on Tuesday, November 7, 2023. The workshop was delivered by Dr./ Mostafa Sherief Mohammed, lecturer of Fixed Prosthodontics.
