Assiut University President Allocates the Lobby of the Major Conference Hall for Exhibiting Colleges' Products and Students' Activities

In the opening speech of the proceeding of the first conference of the development of technical education in Upper Egypt, Prof. Ahmed A. Gaeis, Assiut University President, assured that the true future for Egypt in the coming years begins by the interest in Education, in general, and in technical education, in particular. He added that Egyptian work power, throughout history, is the best, and it is because the interest in technical education has weakened, the growth of unemployment increased. Under the auspices of Eng. Yasser El-Desouki, Governor of Assiut, and the attendance of a large number of participants, the conference entitled "Learn a Craft" was organized by the Unit for Integrated Technology Transfer, Assiut University. The number of participants ranged around 500 from officials from the ministry of education, technical education sector, and students and graduate students.

In a Formal Dinner for Oncology Conference Participants, Luxor Governor Dines with Assiut University President and the Delegation of Association of Arab Universities

Dr. Mohammed Badr, Governor of Luxor has participated with Prof. Ahmed A. Gaeis and Arab guests in the formal dinner given to the participants of the 8th annual Oncology Conference organized by the Department of Oncology and Nuclear Medicine, Faculty of Medicine, Assiut University on "The Most Recent Research in the Field of Oncology Treatments in 2016." Prof. Ola Nabeeh, Professor of Oncology and Conference Chair stated that the conference was attended by more than 650 professors and specialists from all Egyptian, Arab, and foreign universities. She added that conference included six scientific sessions on hematology, gastrointestinal tract, lung cancer, bladder and breast cancer, and immunotherapy together with four workshops on the quality of Nursing, clinical Pharmacy, and Pathology in addition to a workshops on radio-therapy.

Gaeis, Assiut University President, has decided to allocate the lobby of Prof. Mohammed Raafat Mahmoud Hall, the major conference hall at the University Administrative Building for Exhibiting the products of colleges, in all forms; whether technical or agricultural or nutritious, and also the products of students in all varieties. Prof. Gaeis stated that this be done as part of the activities to be done during International Conferences

Assiut University President Accompanies Arab Guests From 14 Arab Countries in a Visit Tour to Tourist Landmarks Luxor

After the close of the Seventh International Conference on Quality Assurance of Higher Education in the Arab World, Prof. Ahmed A. Gaeis, Assiut University President, accompanied the Arab guests from 14 Arab countries in tour to Luxor. During this tour, Prof. Gaeis assured that Egypt has its distinguished position enjoying remarkable safety and security by its long cultural history, civilization, and tourist potentials. These factors qualify the country to attract millions of tourists annually. He added that Luxor alone comprises one-third of World's archaeological monuments.

The meeting included Prof. Shehata Ghareeb, President Consultant for Arab Universities' affairs and Prof. Anwar Abdul-Wahaab Al-Nawaaf, Chairman of the Legal Affairs, Applies Science University. The president assures the depth of the relationship and ties relating Egypt to the Kingdom of Bahrain. Opening the Eighth International Conference of the Department of Tumors and Nuclear Medicine at Assiut University

The Department of Tumors and Nuclear Medicine, Assiut University launched the proceedings of the Eighth International Conference Feb. 21-23 on "The Most recent Research in the Treatment of Tumors in 2016." The conference is organized by the Faculty of Medicine in collaboration with the Arab Organization for fighting Cancer, the Egyptian Association for Cancer, Egyptian Association for Blood Diseases, National Institute for Cancer, Al-Qasr Al-Einy School for Cancer Treatment, and the Division of Nursing management.
