Faculty of Medicine Celebrated the Graduation of New Batch

Faculty of Medicine celebrated the annual graduation of the new batch under the auspices of Prof. Mostafa Kamal, the President of the University, his Vices, Deans of the Faculties, the graduates' relatives. The batch included 549 graduates, & 83 of the graduates of distinguished grade. The President of the University honored the graduates of the first ranks: Shayimaa Said Hassan, Marwa Mohamed Masoud, Salma Mohamed Mohamed, Rofeida Refaat Shehata, Ghada el Said, Maha Said, Nada Osman, Ayia Mohamed Mahrous, Marowa Tamam Amin, Radwa Ali Mohamed.

The Art of Papers Industry and Formation In Faculty of Specific Education

Faculty of Specific Education organized the First International Artistic Workshop, dealing with The Art of Papers Industry and Formation, under the auspices of Prof. Moustafa Kamal, the President of Assiut University, Prof. Mohamed Ragap Bayoumi, the Vice-President for Graduate Studies and Research, Prof. Mohamed Salah el Dein Youssef, the Supervisor of Faculty. The Workshop was participated by 150 of staff members and their assistants, and also included a lecture for Dr. Kyo Kouapeh, the Professor at Kiouto, the Japanese Institute, where she presented number of her artistic works.  

The second Assiut Cornea and External Disease Meeting Symposium on Ocular Surface Disease

The Department of Ophthalmology organized the 2nd Scientific Symposium on Cornea Diseases, under the auspices of Prof. Mostafa Kamal, the President of the University, and Prof. Maher el Asal, the Dean of Faculty of Medicine, and headed by Prof. Omar Mohamed Ali, the Head of the Department. The Symposium took two days, and was participated by a number of staff members of Egyptian universities and physicians of Health Ministry and Health Insurance. The symposium discussed the ocular surface complications of retinal surgeries, and dry eye. Prof. Omar announced during the symposium establishing Assiut University Eye Center, It is supposed to cost 60 Million and aims to present advanced therapeutic services for the patients in Upper Egypt.  

28th Annual Conference of Faculty of MedicineTomorrows Doctor and Community Welfare

 The activities of 28th Annual Conference of Faculty of Medicine began in Assiut University, entitled " Tomorrow's Doctor and Community Welfare" , under the auspices of Prof. Moustafa Kamal, the President of the University, and General/ Nabil el Ezabi, The Governor of Assiut. The Conference aims to discuss the recent methods for preparing professional and qualified physicians who able to offer complete health services in the frame of community welfare, encouraging the scientific research to create the suitable solutions of the health problems, and providing the university hospitals with the requested medical services. The conference take three days and including discussions for Hypertension: The great devastating Epidemic in the 21st Century, First –Steps in Emergency (Medical & Surgical), Innovations in Postgraduate Medical Education, Students' Problems & Solving, Stress – Related Health and Community Problems, and Tomorrow's Doctor serving for Community Welfare

142 Girls from Assiut University In Universities Girls Week in Menya

çilek oyun araba oyunları kız oyunları oyun oyunlar Assiut University participates in the second Egyptian universities girls' week in Menya university, sponsored by Prof. Hany Helal, minister of high education and of state for scientific research. All Egyptian universities participate in this gathering that Prof. Mustafa Kamal, president of Assiut University, describes as a good opportunity held every 2 years for acquaintance and creative interaction, which also represents motivation for youth to work and it reflects the state's conviction with the importance of girls' role in building and promoting society. Assiut University delegation consists of 142 girls who will participate in sport, social, cultural, artistic, scientific and scouting competitions.

 Assiut University witnessed the activities of the second specializing course for faculties of specific education and fine arts sponsored by Prof. Hany Helal, minister of high education and of state for scientific research, and Prof. Mustafa Kamal, president of Assiut university. 13 faculties from different Egyptian universities participate in the course that aims at creating communication among students of the Egyptian universities through a program that includes various student activities.

Under the sponsorship of Mr. Nabil Al-Izaby, governor of Assiut, and Prof. Mustafa Kamal, president of Assiut University, a party will be given to honor the national football team, the winner of the African Nation's Cup. Ahmed Al-Assiuty, the general coordinator, stated that on the sideline of the celebration, a football match is held in Assiut University Stadium between two teams of artists and journalists under the slogan " Because We Love Egypt ". The match income will be devoted to the Upper-Egypt tumors hospital in Assiut.  

Assiut University Council January 2010

Assiut University Council, January 2010, agreed on appointing Mr. Nabil Al-Izaby and Mr. Ahmed Mukhtar, governors of Assiut and The New Valley as members of the Council for two years. The Council joined three new members and renewed the membership of other three old ones. The Council also agreed on appointing 33 university staff members at the various faculties of the university, 5 of them as professors, 10 as assistant professors, and 18 as teachers. 40 scientific degrees were given; 15 PH.D degrees and 25 Master degrees. A large number of students were given the Diploma degree in different majors of the university faculties.  

The Participation of Italian Experts In the 13th Conference of the Liver and Pancreas Assiut University

The Gastroenterology Endoscope Center at Assiut University Hospitals, organized "the 13th conference of the liver, and pancreas" under the auspices of the university president, and in cooperation with the Egyptian liver and pancreas association. On the sidelines of the conference held a workshop, to discuss the latest in the treatment of liver, and pancreas diseases with the participation of Egyptian scientists and a number of Italian experts. It is scheduled for the center to hold another workshop on 10/2/2010 in cooperation with the department of gastroenterology and hepatology at the University of Fry - Burg, Germany, to exchange experiences in this area.  

Assiut University Signed a Scientific Cooperation Agreement with Hebron University

  Artistic Festival for Assiut University Students 14/11/2009 Assiut University signed an agreement for scientific and cultural cooperation with Hebron University which provide facilities for students' envoys for masters and doctoral degrees. The agreement aims to work to facilitate the grants from Assiut University, and to treat Hebron University envoys as the Egyptian students. The agreement also included the implementation of joint scientific supervision between the two universities and the exchange of faculty members, periodicals, books and references. This agreement is the result of a visit by a delegation from the Hebron University included the university president and a member of the board in addition to a delegation of academics from the university to Assiut University.
