Under the auspices of Dr. Ahmed El-Minshawy, President of Assiut University, the Faculty of Specific Education organized, on Thursday, February 22, the activities of the "First Student Forum for Graduate Studies and Research", under the supervision of Dr. Wajdi Nakhleh, Dean of the Faculty of Specific Education, and Dr. Nariman Saeed, Vice Dean for Graduate Studies and Research, with the aim of presenting the scientific research capabilities of the faculty's researchers in the departments of home economics, art education, and music education.

Dr. Ahmed Al-Minshawi stressed the importance of the Graduate Studies Forum between the departments of the Faculty of Specific Education, which highlights the importance of joint interdisciplinary scientific research between the different departments of the faculty and with other colleges, and this is reflected in the development and upgrading of scientific research outputs, expressing his hope that education, scientific research and the exploitation of knowledge will be combined in producing added value to the national economy.

The activities of the forum witnessed the presence of Dr. Jamal Badr, Acting Vice President for Graduate Studies and Research, Dr. Yara Ibrahim, Dean of the Faculty of Early Childhood Education, and Dr. Mohamed Abdel Basit, Vice Dean of the Faculty of Specific Education for Service Affairs.

Assiut University organizes, on Wednesday, July 3, under the auspices of Dr. Ahmed El-Menshawy, President of the University, a major celebration of the eleventh anniversary of the June 30 revolution, and a lecture by Major General Dr. Osama El-Gammal, Military Advisor at Nasser Academy, on the role of the June 30 revolution in maintaining Egyptian national security, under the supervision of Dr. Ahmed Abdel Mawla, Vice President for Education and Student Affairs, Dr. Madiha Darwish, Dean of the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine, and supervisor of student activities, and Dr. Haitham Ibrahim, Director General of Youth Welfare, in the Dr. Mohamed Raafat at the Conference Center in the administrative building of the university.

Dr. El-Menshawy pointed out that the celebration of the eleventh anniversary of the June 30 revolution aims to enhance awareness among young people about the challenges facing Egyptian national security, amid an international and regional reality, which is increasingly complex and turbulent in an unprecedented manner, given the changing nature of threats, a large part of which has become targeting the interior, stressing the keenness of Assiut University to spread the spirit of loyalty and belonging to the homeland among young people, who are moving on the path of development and renaissance, in the march of giving, effort, and hard work under Leadership of His Excellency President Abdel Fattah

Honoring and thanks to Prof. Dr. Enas Dahi Ahmed, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Hossam El-Din Galal, members of the Community Service and Environmental Development Committee, presented by Prof. Dr. Wajdi Refaat Farid, Dean of the Faculty, Prof. Dr. Mohamed Abdel Basit Mohamed Vice Dean for Community Service and Environmental Development Affairs, for designing the logo of the Community Service and Environmental Development Sector, which was presented and approved by the Faculty Council in March 2024

Dr. Ahmed El-Minshawy, President of Assiut University, issued a number of decisions, including the appointment of two vice-deans at the Faculty of Sugar Industry Technology and Integrated Industries, and the Technical Institute of Nursing, in addition to appointing three heads of departments in the faculties of medicine, specific education, and dentistry.

Dr. Al-Minshawi congratulated the new leadership cadres, directing the need to work to achieve tangible development in various sectors, enhance educational quality, in line with the requirements of the times, the needs of the labor market, and keep pace with modern scientific and technological developments.

The decisions included the renewal of the assignment of Dr. Raymond Milad Zaki, Professor at the Department of Chemistry at the Faculty of Science, to carry out the work of Vice Dean of the Faculty of Sugar Industry Technology and Integrated Industries at the university, for community service and environmental development, for a period of one year, and the assignment of Dr. Hanan Azzouz Abdel Hai, a teacher in the Department of Pediatric Nursing at the Faculty of Nursing, as Vice Dean of the Technical Institute of Nursing, for a period of three years.

The decisions also included the renewal of the appointment of Dr. Essam Ahmed Mohamed Mahmoud, Professor at the Department of Physical Medicine, Rheumatology and Rehabilitation at the Faculty of Medicine at the University, as Chairman of the Department Council, and the appointment of Dr. Hind Mohamed

The Department of Art Education, Faculty of Specific Education, Assiut University, extended its sincere thanks and appreciation to Prof. Dr. Wagdy Refaat Farid Nakhleh, Dean of the Faculty, for all his effort, sincerity and dedication to work during his tenure as Dean of the Faculty during the past years.

A ceremony was held in honor of the Dean of the Faculty Members Club in Assiut.

The Dean received congratulations and wishes for continued success, excellence and creativity from his sons, fellow faculty members and their assistants in the department.

Assiut University, headed by Dr. Ahmed El-Minshawy, President of the University, celebrated today, Monday, April 29, the distribution of the "Assiut University Award for Quality and Excellence" in its second session 2023, which is organized by the Quality and Excellence Department at the university, under the supervision of Mr. Shawkat Saber, Secretary General of the University, and the General Supervisor of the Award, Dr. Buthaina Al-Fateh, Assistant Secretary-General of the University and Supervisor of Quality and Excellence, and Mr. Mohamed Abbas, Director of Quality and Excellence Department, representative of the Senior Management of Quality, and Executive Director of the Award, within the framework of cooperation with the Ministry of Planning, and a team Egypt Award for Government Excellence at the University.

The ceremony was attended by Dr. Ahmed Abdel Mawla, Vice President for Education and Student Affairs, Dr. Mahmoud Abdel Alim, Vice President for Community Service and Environmental Development, Dr. Gamal Badr, Vice President for Graduate Studies and Research, Eng. Amr Abdel Aal, Deputy Governor of Assiut, and a group of deans of faculties, faculty members, and employees of the administrative staff at the university.

At the beginning of his speech, Dr. Ahmed El-Menshawy congratulated the Egyptian people, Muslims and Christians, on the occasion of the celebration.
