Supra b-irresoluteness and supra b- connectedness on topological spaces

Research Abstract

In this paper, the concept of supra b-irresolute maps is introduced and several
properties of it is investigated. Furthermore, the notion of supra b-connectedness is defined and researched by means of supra b-separated sets.

β-Separation axioms based on Lukasiewicz logic

Research Abstract

In this paper, we introduce topological notions defined by means of β-open sets when these are planted into the framework of Ying’s fuzzifying topological spaces (by Lukasiewicz logic in [0, 1]).We introduce T 0 β -; T 1 β -; T 2 β - (β- Hausdorff)-, T 3 β - (β-regular)- and T 4 β - (β-normal)-separation axioms. Furthermore, the R 0 β - and R 1 β - separation axioms are studied and their relations with the T 1 β - and  T 2 β - separation axioms are introduced. Moreover, we clarify the relations of these axioms with each other as well as the relations with other fuzzifying separation axioms.

α-irresoluteness and α- compactness based on continuous valued logic

Research Abstract

This paper considers fuzzifying topologies, a special case of I -fuzzy topologies (bifuzzy topologies), introduced by Ying [1]. It investigates topological notions defined by means of α-open sets when these are planted into the framework of Ying’s fuzzifying topological spaces (by Lukasiewicz logic in [0, 1]) . The concept of α-irresolute functions and α-compactness in the framework of fuzzifying topology are introduced and some of their properties are obtained. We use the finite intersection property to give a characterization of fuzzifying α-compact spaces. Furthermore, we study the image of fuzzifying α-compact
spaces under fuzzifying α-continuity and fuzzifying α-irresolute maps.

A unified theory (I) for neighborhood systems and basic concepts on fuzzifying topological spaces

Research Abstract

This paper considers fuzzifying topologies, a special case of I-fuzzy topologies (bifuzzy topologies), introduced by Ying [25]. It investigates topological notions defined by means of D -open sets when these are planted into the framework of Ying’s fuzzifying topological spaces (by Łukasiewicz logic in [0, 1]). In this paper we introduce some sorts of operations, called general fuzzifying operations from P(X) to Á(X) , where (X,t) is a fuzzifying topological space. By making use of them we contract neighborhood structures, derived sets, closure operations and

interior operations. © 2012 SciRes.

Quasi Triangular Norms Between Boolean Conjunction and any Other Quasi Triangular Norm

Research Abstract

From quasi t-norms and quasi t-conorms we give methods to generate new quasi t-norms and new quasi-t-conorms. Furthermore, between (resp. ) and every quasi t-norm (resp. quasi t-conorm) f (resp. f*) it is proved the existence of finite sequences of quasi t-norms (resp. quasi t-conorms) lies between (resp. ) and f (resp. f*). Finally, we give some special cases of complete residuated lattice valued-logic.

Supra pre-open sets and supra pre- continuity on topological spaces

Research Abstract

In this paper, a new class of sets and maps between topological spaces called supra pre-open sets and supra pre-continuous maps, respectively are introduced and studied. Furthermore, the concepts of supra pre-open maps and supra pre-closed maps in terms of supra pre-open sets and supra pre-closed sets, respectively, are introduced and several properties of them are investigated.

Corrigendum to [On supra b-open sets and supra b- continuity on topological spaces]

Research Abstract

In (2010) Sayed and Noiri [1], introduced and investigated a class of sets and maps between topological spaces called supra b-open sets and supra b-continuous maps, respectively. In this note, we show that Proposition 1 is incorrect.

Synthesis, characterization, and biological activities of some novel thienylpyrido[3′,2′:4,5]thieno[3,2-d]pyrimidines and related heterocycles

Research Abstract

3-Cyano-5-ethoxycarbonyl-6-methyl-4-(2′-thienyl)-pyridine-2(1H)-thione (1) is synthesized and reacted with chloroacetamide or chloroacetonitrile to give 3-amino-5-ethoxycarbonyl-6-methyl-4(2′-thienyl)-thieno[2,3-b]pyridine-2-carboxamide 3a or its 2-carbonitrile analog 3b, respectively. Cyclocondensation of 3a with triethylorthoformate produced the corresponding pyridothienopyrimidineone 4, which on heating with phosphorus oxychloride gave 4-chloropyrimidine derivative 5. Compound 5 was used as key intermediate for synthesizing compounds 691011, and 12 upon treatment with some nucleophilic reagents such as thiourea, 5-phenyl-s-triazole-3(1H)-thione, piperidine, morpholine, or hydrazine hydrate, respectively. Reaction of pyridothienopyrimidinethione 6 with N-(4-tolyl)-2-chloroacetamide or ethyl bromoacetate afforded the corresponding S-substituted methylsulfanylpyrimidines 7 or 8. The condensation of 3b with triethylorthoformate gave azomethine derivative 13, which was reacted with hydrazine hydrate to give ethyl 3-amino-3,4-dihydro-4-imino-7-methyl-9-(2′-thienyl)pyrido[3′,2′:4,5]thieno[3,2-d]pyrimidine-8-carboxylate (14). Compounds 12 and 14 were used as precursors for synthesizing other new thienylpyridothienopyrimidines as well as isomeric thienyl-s-triazolopyridothieno- pyrimidines. All synthesized compounds were characterized by elemental and spectral analyses such as IR, 1H NMR, and 13C NMR. In addition, majority of synthesized compounds were tested for their antifungal activity against five strains of fungi. Moreover, compounds 3a568, and 22 were screened for their anticancer activity against HEPG-2 and MCF-7 cell lines.
