With reference to the approval of His Excellency the Minister of Youth and Sports, Professor Dr. [Name], to implement the "1000 Running Points" initiative across the governorates of the Republic, which is being carried out in accordance with the directives of His Excellency President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi to take the necessary measures to raise the physical fitness levels of citizens.
The main idea of the initiative is to allocate as many spaces as possible in the streets and squares of the governorates of the Republic for free walking, running, and exercise.
In this regard, the Ministry of Youth and Sports invites young people who love sports and physical activity in the governorates of the Republic to form sports groups. Each group should consist of three young people aged 18 and above. The group's responsibility will be to promote walking, running, and morning exercises every Friday morning with the aim of raising the physical fitness levels of citizens.
Applications from young people to work in the sports groups affiliated with the Ministry of Youth and Sports within the framework of the initiative will be accepted for two weeks through the following link:
Personal interviews are also conducted with participating sports groups by specialists to select the best individuals to work with the initiative.

The campaign underscored the Faculty's mission to promote social responsibility and cultivate a culture of volunteerism among students and staff. The initiative aimed to support cancer patients and provide essential blood units, which contribute to saving many critical cases within the Cancer Institute.
The campaign witnessed broad participation from students, faculty members, and staff, amidst an atmosphere of humanity and solidarity. This reflects the university community's strong awareness of the importance of blood donation and its role in saving lives and supporting the healthcare system.
The campaign was organized under the supervision of Professor Dr. Mustafa El-Sebai, Vice Dean for Community Service and Environmental Development, and with close follow-up from Professor Dr. Emad Samir, Dean of the College, who praised the students' enthusiasm and rapid response to this noble initiative. He affirmed that the College will remain an active partner in all endeavors that serve the community and promote the values of cooperation and solidarity.

Under the generous patronage of His Excellency Professor Dr. Ahmed El-Menshawy, President of Assiut University, and His Excellency Professor Dr. Mohamed Ahmed Adawy, Vice President for Community Service and Environmental Development, the Faculty of Sports Sciences, under the leadership of Professor Dr. Emad Samir, Dean of the Faculty, and Professor Dr. Mustafa El-Sebaei, Vice Dean for Community Service and Environmental Development, organized an important awareness seminar today entitled: "The Dangers of Corruption and Mechanisms for Combating It in the New Republic."
At the beginning of the seminar, Professor Dr. Emad Samir, Dean of the Faculty, delivered a welcoming speech in which he expressed his pleasure at the presence of His Excellency the Vice President of the University at the Faculty on his first visit since assuming his position. He wished him every success and presented him with a commemorative shield in appreciation of his support, sincere efforts, and dedication to serving the community and developing the environment within the university. This gesture reflected the spirit of constructive cooperation between the university leadership and the Faculty, as well as between faculty members, staff, and students.
The opening session also featured a speech by His Excellency the Vice President of the University, Professor Dr. Mohamed Ahmed Adawy, who began by welcoming the attendees and thanking the Faculty of Sports Sciences for its effective role in organizing this important seminar. His Excellency commended the Faculty's awareness in addressing such a sensitive topic as "corruption," emphasizing the importance of disseminating a culture of integrity and transparency, and the necessity of educating students and staff on methods of combating corruption and its impact on the state's efforts to build the new republic.
The seminar was attended by prominent figures from the Faculty leadership, most notably Professor Dr. Yasser Hassan Hamed, Vice Dean for Community Service and Environmental Development; Professor Dr. Ahmed Khodary, Vice Dean for Graduate Studies and Research; Professor Dr. Tarek Abdel Aziz, Professor in the Department of Curriculum and Instruction of Physical Education and former Dean of the Faculty; and Mr. Hamdy El-Adawy, the Faculty Secretary. Faculty members, students, and a large number of staff members also participated.
During the meeting, Dr. Mustafa Mohamed Morsi, Coordinator of the National Anti-Corruption Strategy at Assiut University, presented a comprehensive overview of the most prominent forms of corruption, its impact on development, and mechanisms for combating it in accordance with the state's vision for governance and accountability. Attendees actively participated in the discussions and raised important questions about ways to promote a culture of integrity within institutions.
The seminar concluded with an open dialogue in the college's discussion hall, amidst significant student engagement that reflected their interest in national awareness issues and their role in supporting anti-corruption efforts.
