Important announcement for students 2026

 The Military Education Department at Assiut University announces the schedule for military education courses (male/female) for the academic year 2025/2026, according to the officially approved dates.

All students wishing to enroll in military education courses must:

- Adhere to the announced dates for each course.

- Follow official announcements regarding registration and instructions.

- Be aware that passing the military education course is a prerequisite for graduation, according to applicable regulations.

# Courses will begin sequentially according to the attached schedule. Students should choose the course that best suits their academic schedule.

Instructions for the third-year study camp for the academic year 2026 AD, first group

 Article (12) of the college's internal regulations stipulates that a training camp be organized for third-year students to develop their skills in leading scout and guide troops. Student attendance and adherence to the camp program are fundamental to their success in the academic year. Students will not be promoted to the fourth year unless they achieve a satisfactory result at the end of the camp.

Therefore, it has been decided to hold the third-year training camp on campus in two sessions, each lasting seven days.

The first session will be held from January 17, 2026, to January 23, 2026.

Please bring the following:

National ID card and college ID card for the academic year 2025/2026

College-issued athletic attire (training suit, shorts, vest, athletic shoes)

Writing supplies (for lectures)

Masks and hand sanitizer, and all necessary precautions must be taken to prevent the spread of infection.

Maintain a neat appearance and personal hygiene (shaving beard and hair).

Important Notice

It is essential not to bring large sums of money or valuables (gold, mobile phones, etc.).

This is the student's personal responsibility. In case of loss, the camp administration will not be held liable. Adherence to camp regulations is mandatory.

Visit of the Vice President of the University for Community Service and Environmental Development during the activities of the first-year study camp 2026

 On Wednesday, January 14, 2026, the college was honored by a visit from His Excellency Professor Dr. Mohamed Ahmed Adawy, Vice President of the University for Community Service and Environmental Development. This visit reflects the university leadership's commitment to supporting student activities and programs that contribute to community service and environmental development.

During the visit, His Excellency attended the flag-raising ceremony for the first-year students' study camp, part of the 2025-2026 academic year's sports caravans for community service and environmental development. The camp, held on the college's sports fields, aims to cultivate a sense of belonging and commitment, and to refine students' athletic and behavioral skills.

Also present were Professor Dr. Emad Samir, Dean of the College; Professor Dr. Mustafa El-Sebaei, Vice Dean of the College for Community Service and Environmental Development; Professor Dr. Mohamed Abdel-Azim, Head of the Camp; and the faculty members supervising the camp, who oversee and implement its various programs.

At the conclusion of the visit, His Excellency Professor Dr. Mohamed Ahmed Adawy conveyed the greetings of His Excellency Professor Dr. Ahmed El-Menshawy, President of the University, to the students, emphasizing the pivotal role of the Faculty of Sports Sciences and the importance of its graduates in supporting the development process and building the nation. He pointed out that sports are among the most important tools for success and progress for countries and societies due to their positive impact on the physical and moral development of individuals.

His Excellency also commended the commitment and discipline he witnessed among the first-year students during the camp activities, thanking them and wishing them continued success in their university and professional lives. He affirmed the university's ongoing support for such purposeful activities.

Important announcement regarding postgraduate studies 2026

 The English Language Center, under the supervision of Professor Dr. [Name], Vice President of the University for Community Service and Environmental Development and Chairman of the Board of Directors of Foreign Language Centers, and Dr. Abeer Mohamed Raafat, Supervisor of the English Language Center, announces the following to facilitate access for postgraduate students affiliated with Assiut University:

The possibility of obtaining a certificate of completion for the English language course for postgraduate students, which is a requirement for awarding Master's and Doctoral degrees, as follows:

1- Direct enrollment in the English language course proficiency exam, which will be held at the English Language Center, for a fee of 500 EGP.

2- Enrollment in the course and exam, with the course being conducted remotely (online) for 9 lectures, for a fee of 800 EGP.

Upon passing the exam, the student will be awarded a computerized certificate accredited by the Vice President of the University for Environmental Affairs and Community Service and Professor Dr. [Name], Director of the Center, for a fee of 100 EGP.

Important notice for graduate students

 

All newly admitted Master's students for the 2025/2026 academic year should note the following:

**Due to the circumstances of recent graduates who are currently serving or have applied for military service, the application period will be extended to January and February 2026, provided that a valid deferment or approval from the military unit is obtained for enrollment and study in the Master's program. This extension is necessary to complete the enrollment process with the central administration. Incomplete applications will not be accepted.

Required Documents for the Master's Program

The required documents are listed according to the university administration's instructions to simplify procedures and facilitate review.

1- The registration form, accompanied by (4) passport-size photos, must include the applicant's information, academic certificates, and the applicant's signature. The remaining documents are for the department, college administration, and central university administration.

2- Original Bachelor's degree certificate, obtained no more than ten years prior, unless the applicant also holds a postgraduate diploma in Physical Education with a minimum overall grade of "Good," and the diploma was issued before October 15, 2025.

3- A certified and stamped copy of the national ID card, bearing the official seal of the Republic on both the front and back (below each other), on a single page. The ID card must be valid.

4- A statement of employment status, along with approval from the employer, certified and stamped with the official seal of the Republic, for employed applicants. Alternatively, a declaration of unemployment, certified by an official authority and clearly stamped, showing the names and positions of the signatories, for unemployed applicants.

5- Original military service certificate or exemption certificate, or certified copies stamped with the official seal of the Republic, or approval from the unit or battalion to pursue studies, stamped with the unit's seal (not the Arab Security seal) if the applicant is a conscript in the Armed Forces.

6- Approval from the Officers' Affairs Department for active-duty or reserve officers during their mandatory service year to pursue studies if the applicant is an officer in the Armed Forces. 7- Original computerized birth certificate.

8- Transcript of grades for (4) years.

9- Certificate of good conduct.

10- Declaration: No withdrawal of fees + Declaration not to enroll in a Master's program at any other university + Declaration of language proficiency + Declaration of attendance rate (75%).

**Digital Transformation course completion declaration + Receipt of online application.
