Impact of Immediate Versus Delayed Post Abortion Family Planning Counseling on
Increasing Contraceptive Rate at Beni Sueif General Hospital

Research Abstract
Abortion is the termination of a pregnancy by the removal or expulsion of an embryo or fetus from the uterus, resulting in or caused by its death. The aim of this study: Assess the impact of Immediate Versus Delayed Post Abortion Family Planning Counseling on Increasing Contraceptive Rate Subjects and method: All the included Post abortion women were randomly assigned into two main groups, Intervention Group women was counseled immediately after abortion about the family planning methods. The Control Group women who were receive the same counseling information but after one week of abortion at the Out Patient Family Planning Clinics. Results: The majority of both groups had no pregnancy with using family planning methods "79.0%&79.5%" respectively, with sig, differences between both groups P.V (0.040). Conclusion: There is Sig. differences with P.V (0.001) between Intervention and Control group as regards to the rate of contraceptive use. So Delayed is better than Immediate post abortion Family Planning Counseling on Increasing Contraceptive Rate. Recommendations: Public health promotion programs approved by the Ministry of Health should promote child-spacing, modern methods of contraception.

Assessment of Obesity Complications during Antenatal Period at Qena University Hospital, Egypt

Research Abstract
Objective: This study aimed to assess the hospital based rate of high-risk obese pregnant women at Qena University Hospital, Assess the antenatal Obstetric and Medical complications associated with Obesity among these women and Provide health education for those obese pregnant women about the dietary requirements. Setting: the inpatient antenatal word OF Obstetrics and Gynecology Departments at Qena University Hospital Duration: from 1 st October 2012 to 20th April 2013. Patients&Methds: Cross Sectional, study of 350 cases of high-risk pregnant women admitted at the inpatient antenatal word at Qena University Hospital was used. Completing semi- structured interviewing sheet from All high risk pregnant obese women with single fetus who have the BMI ≥ 29. After completing the sheet, giving them brochures about nutrition according to their diagnosis and explaining how to follow. Results. More than half (57.4%) of the sample were classified as obesity class one among high risk pregnant women. Complications of obesity increased among high risk pregnant women such as previous caesarean section rate (38.3%), PROM were (13.4%), pregnancy induced hypertension (11.7 %), other risk factors about (16.3 %). Conclusions: hospital based rate of obesity was one third of the total flow of pregnant women at this hospital was obese with high risk pregnancy more than half of high risk pregnant were classified as obesity class one and the most common obstetrics' complications associated with obesity were previous caesarean section and premature rupture of membrane respectively. Recommendations: Nutrition and exercise counseling should begins from pre-puberty, during pregnancy, continues postpartum and before attempting another pregnancy.

Aim of study was to explore the prevalence and etiological factors among patients in Fayoum city. Design the study was done at outpatient clinic of gynecological and Andrology in Fayoum university hospital, Egypt An observational Cross-sectional research was used in this study. Subjects of the study were 540 infertility patients (210 male and 330 female) either primary or secondary infertility. Tools of data collection were interviewed questioner, for female and male patients as" personal data, sexual problems, …. Etc" and statistical record about rate of male & female patients for one year. Methods of this study began on October 2012 and finished on September 2013, data was obtained through face to face interview. Results of this study revealed that the percentage of infertile female in Fayoum university hospital was 57.6% of all attended female to Gynecological outpatient. While infertile male was 24% of all attended male to Anderology outpatient. Conclusion the majority of infertile male had primary infertility and more than two thirds of infertile female had secondary infertility. Recommendation it's necessary to make educational programs to increase fertility awareness of infertile patients / couples and methods of treatment.

Nursing Counseling about Sleep Hygiene Behaviors for Snoring and Sleeping Disorders among Pregnant Women

Research Abstract
Background: Sleeping disorder is prevalent in pregnancy compared with non-pregnant population. Currently, strategies that intervene during gestation primarily focus on improving sleeping practices to optimize health. The study aimed to determine the frequency and risk factors of snoring and breathing disorders during pregnancy and to counsel these women about sleep hygiene behaviors for improving their sleep quality. Setting, The study was conducted at antenatal outpatient clinic, woman’s Health Hospital, Assiut University, Egypt. Methods: Quasi experimental research design and simple random sample were used in collecting and applying the data. A total of 205 pregnant women. Three tools were used for this study included, structure interview questionnaire, Pittsburgh sleep quality index (PSQI) questionnaire and Counseling assessment checklist. Results: Nearly half of women have developed snoring related to pregnancy and more than half of them develop sleeping disorder. There is a significant relation between age, body mass index and maternal diseases as, anemia, RHD, rhinitis and respiratory disease act as risk factors to develop snoring and breathing disorder during pregnancy. Conclusion: Snoring and sleeping disorder can develop and worth related pregnancy, many maternal factors play as a predictor to develop snoring and nursing counseling is important role to improve women behaviors. Recommendations: Continuation nursing counseling on sleep hygiene and lifestyle changes because it safe and effective treatment options.
