Professor Dr. Khaled Salah, Dean of the Faculty, announced the appointment of Dr. Zainab Ibrahim Abdel Shafi, from the Faculty's Department of Civil Engineering, as Director of the Graduate Follow-up and Employment Unit.
The Dean of the Faculty congratulated the new Director of the Unit, wishing her success in her new role.
It is worth noting that Dr. Zainab was the coordinator of the first Engineering Employment Forum, organized by the Faculty last April. The Forum was held in collaboration between the Education and Student Sector, the Community Service and Environmental Development Sector, and was actively organized by the Graduate Follow-up Unit, the Student Training Unit, and the Faculty's Student Union.
The Department of Civil Engineering announces a seminar for Engineer Ali Mohamed Mohamed Ibrahim, a graduate student enrolled in the department's Master's program. The department also announces a seminar for Engineer Ahmed Tharwat Mohamed Ali, an assistant lecturer in the department and enrolled in the PhD program in Civil Engineering at the Civil Engineering Department, Assiut University. The seminar will be held on Monday, May 5, 2025, from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM, in the Dr. Abdel Rahman Mujahid Scientific Discussion Hall in the Civil Engineering Department.

The Department of Architecture announces the holding of research seminars on Sunday, May 4, 2025.
The Department of Architecture announces the holding of an initial seminar to record the research point (PhD) for Engineer Ikram Mustafa Mohamed, a doctoral student in the department. The department also announces the holding of a final seminar prior to the formation of the evaluation committee for the master's thesis of Engineer Sara Ali Mohamed, a teaching assistant at the Faculty of Fine Arts, Assiut University.
This will be held on *Sunday*, May 4, 2025, at 1:00 PM, in the auditorium of Professor Abdel Moneim Hassan Kamel in the Department of Architecture.
After studying the possibility of adjusting the final exam dates from all organizational aspects, ensuring that coursework and teaching in departments and programs have been completed, and following a student opinion poll conducted by the Student Union, which showed that the vast majority of students (80%) oppose postponing the exam start date, the college announces that exams will be held on the previously announced dates, according to the previously announced schedules, without any changes.
With the college administration's sincere wishes for success to its students.
Professor Dr. Khaled Salah, Dean of the Faculty, received Engineer Nabil El-Shenawy, Training Director of the Royal Group, which owns several cement factories in Minya and Alexandria. The meeting addressed a preliminary understanding regarding a cooperation agreement between the group in general, and the Royal Cement Factory in Minya in particular, and the Faculty of Engineering at Assiut University, to cooperate in various fields.
The meeting was attended by Professor Dr. Mohamed Safwat Abu Reya, Vice Dean for Community Service and Environmental Development; Professor Dr. Shehata El-Dabaa Abdel Rahim, Vice Dean for Graduate Studies and Research; Professor Dr. Gamal Yahya Baghdadi, Head of the Department of Mining and Metallurgy Engineering; Professor Dr. Mahmoud El-Sherif, Head of the Department of Mechanical Design and Production Engineering; Professor Dr. Mohamed Abdel Basset, Head of the Department of Civil Engineering; and Professor Dr. Khaled Ali Youssef, Head of the Department of Architectural Engineering.
The meeting addressed various areas of cooperation that the two parties could explore in preparation for the drafting of the agreement and its approval by both parties.

This will be held on Monday, May 26, 2025, starting at 12:30 PM, in the auditorium of Professor Abdel Moneim Hassan Kamel, Department of Architecture.
On Monday, May 19, 2025, Professor Dr. Khaled Salah, Dean of the Faculty, received Professor Dr. Noubi Mohamed Hassan, Vice President for Academic Affairs at Assiut Private University and former Dean of the Faculty. The Dean congratulated the Dean on his appointment as Dean of the Faculty. The meeting was attended by Professor Dr. Mohamed Safwat Aburia, Vice Dean for Community Service and Environmental Development Affairs and Acting Vice Dean for Education and Student Affairs.
The meeting was warmly welcomed by the administrative staff of the Dean's Office and the College Secretary, who were in attendance.
The meeting also addressed a number of important topics related to the role of the Faculty of Engineering at Assiut Private University and areas of partnership and cooperation between the two universities.
Assiut University urges citizens not to deal with any entity or individual claiming to issue "accredited" certificates in the university's name without consulting the official accredited channels.
The university affirms that the recent fake post circulating on social media, falsely attributed to Assiut University, is a clear insult to the university and Egyptian education.
The university warns against being swayed by such false claims and affirms its legal right to take the necessary measures against anyone who spreads these lies.
