For the masters, the candidate is required to pursue a year of studies approved by the Faculty Council and must pass the exams successfully, Then after passing the courses successfully, the candidate has to prepare a thesis on the topic recommended by the department council and approved by the Faculty’s-Council.

  • Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited university recognized by AUN (overall grade must be at least “good”)
  • A birth certificate or an official copy of it.
  • A copy of the National ID Card.
  • Six personal (4*6) photos.
  • Approval of the students’ workplace that he/she can enroll for postgraduate studies.
  • If the student is a civil servant, he/she has to have approval of his/her workplace that he/she can give all his/her time to studies if necessary (or according to the faculty by laws).
  • The Military Status Certificate (postponed / temporarily exempted / finally exempted).
  • The Armed Forces approval in the case of conscripted students.

 

 

  • A PhD candidate must have a Master's Degree in the same field from an Egyptian university or an equivalent degree from another academic institution recognized by the university.
  • The applicant must undertake innovative research in the subject approved by the Faculty Council and the University Council upon recommendation of the Department concerned.
  • The Studies and research are carried out for a period of at least two years.
  • After registration for the Degree, the candidate must stay in the Arab Republic of Egypt for a period of one year at least before submitting the dissertation to the Board of Examiners.
  • The candidate must present the results of the research in the dissertation, and the dissertation must be approved by the Board of Examiners after a defense.
  • A birth certificate or an official copy of it.
  • A copy of the National ID Card.
  • Six personal (4*6) photos.
  • Approval of the students’ workplace that he/she can enroll for postgraduate studies.

  • The candidate must have got a PhD Degree in science at least five years before applying.
  • The candidate must submit innovative published research which he/she submitted either for PhD or Master's Degree in science.
  • The candidate must show the general trend of his/her research and must reveal the value and impact of his/her research on science.
  • The candidate must survey his cooperative and joint research work together with the Master’s or PhD research work he/she has supervised.
  • Lastly, the faculty’s Council must discuss the overall validity of scientific research provided by the candidate before submitting the file to the committee of current or former professors in the Egyptian universities/professors from other universities and scientific institutes recognized by the university.
  • A birth certificate or an official copy of it.
  • A copy of the National ID Card.
  • Six personal (4*6) photos.
