“Faculty of Education Journal” Assiut University receives a Q1 rating from Arcif for the year 2023

Dr.. Al-Minshawi: The magazine ranks 35th in the Arab world in impact factor and reference citations (ARCIF) out of a total of (1155) magazines.

Dr. Ahmed El-Menshawy, President of Assiut University, announced: Obtaining the university’s College of Education magazine; Ranked 35th among Arabs; In the impact factor and reference citations of Arab scientific journals (ARCIF); This was included in his eighth annual report for the magazines, for the year 2023 AD, and the magazine itself included; Ranked (20th) in the field of educational sciences; This brings it into the highest category (Q1), which is the first category in this specialization, under the supervision of Dr. Hassan Howail, Dean of the College of Education.

Dr. Ahmed Al-Minshawy directed: With sincere congratulations; To all those responsible for the magazine, including researchers and faculty members, stressing that this success achieved by the College of Education Journal; It represents an extension of the scientific and research progress witnessed by the university, which reflects the extent of its interest. By scientific publishing and raising the quality of scientific outputs; For the system of graduate studies and scientific research, which contributes to expanding the base of the university’s distinguished scientific presence in prestigious academic circles.

Dr. Ahmed Al-Minshawy explained: The College of Education magazine has succeeded in achieving the accreditation standards for (ARCIF) laboratories, which are compatible with international standards, which number about (32) standards. Thus, it was ranked (35) in the Arab world, out of a total of (1155) journals, with an impact factor of 1.0167. It was also ranked (20) in the field of educational sciences, out of a total of (126) Arab journals, with an impact factor of 0.511, to be achieved. Classification; Within the highest category (Q1), expressing his pride and full appreciation; For all the efforts made within the College of Education; To improve published scientific content, and keep pace with the latest global research and educational methods; In various educational specializations.

Dr. Hassan Haweel, Dean of the College of Education, indicated that the (ARCIF) laboratories; It is one of the initiatives of the (Knowledge) database for scientific production and content, which is subject to the supervision of the (Supervisory and Coordination Council) consisting of; Representatives of several Arab and international bodies, including: the UNESCO Regional Office for Education in the Arab Countries in Beirut, the United Nations Commission for Western Asia (ESCWA), the Library of Alexandria, the Knowledge Database, in addition to a scientific committee; From experts and academics with a leading scientific reputation, from several Arab countries and Britain.

 

 

Holding a workshop on documenting references for scientific theses in light of the seventh edition of the American Psychological Association APA-7 manual

Under the auspices of Professor Dr. Hassan Muhammad Hawiel, Dean of the College, a workshop was held today, Sunday, 11/12/2023, on documenting references for scientific dissertations in light of the seventh edition of the American Psychological Association’s APA-7 manual, and Mervat Hassan Zanati, assistant lecturer in the department, lectured at it. Educational Psychology and Samia Gamal El-Din Abdel Hafez, assistant lecturer in the Department of Educational Psychology, in the presence of department heads and a group of faculty members and their assistants, in the hall of Professor Dr. Muhammad Ibrahim Abdel Qader in the classroom building at the college.

A delegation from the Faculty of Education - Assiut University visited the Egyptian-Japanese School in New Assiut.

The delegation included Professor Dr. Hassan Mohamed Haweel, Dean of the College, Professor Dr. Gamal Hassan Al-Sayed, and Dr. Sherine Abdel Mohsen, to discuss aspects of future cooperation between the College of Education and Egyptian-Japanese schools. The delegation praised the school's financial and human capabilities, and inspected the study system and the Japanese Tokatsu activities applied at the school.

Ms. Omaima Tawfik, Director of the Egyptian Japanese School, also explained that Tokatsu is a well-known educational system in Japan that develops all the student’s skills, and focuses on creativity and thinking instead of memorization and memorization, and that the Tokatsu system enhances students’ self-confidence through many activities that students perform and plan for themselves.
