Today, Wednesday, September 30, 2020, the activities of the third session of preparing an adult education teacher, organized by the Adult Education Center at the College of Education, under the patronage of Dr. Adel Najdi, Dean of the College and Chairman of the Center’s Board of Directors, was launched in the presence of Dr. Maha Kamel Ghanem, Vice President for Environmental Affairs and Prof. Dr. Hassan Howail, Deputy The College for Environmental Affairs and Community Service, Vice Chairman of the Center's Board of Directors and Brigadier General Staff Harb / Mohamed Heidi, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Social Solidarity, Professor / Khaled Abdel Hamid / Director General of the Adult Education Authority in Assiut, Dr. Ahmed Abdullah Al-Sagheer, Chairman of the Board of Education Origins Department and Director of the Center, and Dr. Marwa Al-Samman Executive Director For the centerAt the beginning, Dr. Adel Najdi welcomed the attendees and thanked Dr. Maha Kamel for attending the opening of the third session of preparing an adult education teacher. In her speech, Dr. Maha Kamel thanked the Dean of the College and those in charge of the Adult Education Center, which she considered the nucleus of the elimination of illiteracy in Upper Egypt and promised to provide material incentives For the ten best students in the field of illiteracy eradication, and for his part, Najdi added that the college will provide financial incentives starting with five thousand pounds for the best achievements in Asyut. Professor / Khaled Abdel Hamid confirmed that the College of Education alone achieved 40% of the achievements of Assiut governorate in the field of illiteracy eradication, which reached 1388 classes. During the year 2019/2020, Al-Wahaidi added that the College of Education is the engine of literacy in Assiut and Upper Egypt, and that its efforts in this field are great.
