The Faculty of Science at Assiut University has witnessed the honoring of the Spanish Scientist, Dr. Andrea Cantero, professor of physics at the University of Valencia in Spain. Prof. Dr. Najwa Thabet Abou Elmaaly, Dean of the Faculty of Science, has presented Dr. Andrea the college shield because of his excellence in physics, especially the physical properties of nano-materials and energy-producing materials.   It is noteworthy that the university has hosted Dr. Andre to deliver two lectures; the first entitled: "The Study of Effect of Raman Scattering on the Semiconducting Nanometer Materials", while the second entitled: "Improving the Efficiency of the New High-Efficient Thermoelectric Materials".
