Assiut University is looking at ways to open the horizons of cooperation and joint work with the French University of ESLSCA

Assiut University President, Prof. Dr. Tarek El-Gammal, affirmed the university's keenness to support cooperation and joint work in various scientific and research fields according to a work strategy aimed at opening new horizons with all institutions and organizations internally and externally. This followed the welcoming of prof. Dr. Ahmed ElMinshawy to the delegation of ESLSCA University, which consisted of Dr. Rania Atef, Director of the University of ESLSCA branch in Upper Egypt, Ms. Shaimma Magrabi, Director of Marketing at ESLSCA Upper Egypt Branch, in the presence of Dr. Magda Mahmoud, Head of International Relations Office at the University In this context, the Vice President pointed out that the meeting included a review of the ways of cooperation between Assiut University and the branch of the University of ESLSCA in Upper Egypt as a beacon to provide science in Upper Egypt, where he pointed out that the cooperation program includes the provision of educational and research service to all university members of the university. The program aims at studying business administration in modern ways according to international specifications, which creates qualified cadres in a specialized and efficient market for working at home and abroad, where the student applies for the diploma "DBA", and Professional Master "MBA", which range from one year to two years as well as providing courses and training programs.

Assiut University announces the success of the Journal of Veterinary Medicine in obtaining international standards for the accreditation of the Effect factor and citations

Prof. Dr. Ahmed El-Menshawy, Vice President of Assiut University for Graduate Studies and Research, announced that the Journal of the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine, entitled "Assiut Veterinary Magazine", has obtained the international standards for the adoption of reference coefficients and reference citations in Arabic, issued by ARCIF. On her part, Dr. Madiha Hosni Darwish, Dean of the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine and Editor-in-Chief of Assiut Veterinary Magazine, said that this announcement was made in the fourth annual Arsif report for journals issued in 2019 during the Scientific Forum of the indicators of Arab and global scientific research and production in the digital transformation of Arab university education in cooperation with the American University of Beirut. Arsif laboratories collected, studied and analyzed more than 4300 titles of Arab, scientific and research magazines in various disciplines and issued by 1400 scientific bodies from about 20 countries, and only 499 magazines succeeded in obtaining accreditation standards during 2019, after evaluating these issues in accordance with 31 criteria.

Assiut University wins a number of gold, silver and bronze medals during its participation in the activities of the African University Youth Week in Aswan

Assiut University President, Prof.Dr. Tarek El-Gammal, expressed his delight at the success of the University in winning several advanced places during its participation in the activities of the first week of African Universities Youth held in Aswan from 19 to 25 October in the framework of the declaration of Aswan as the capital of African Youth by the President of the Republic. This event is organized by Aswan University under the auspices of Dr. Khaled Abdel Ghaffar, Minister of Higher Education and the presidency of Dr. Ahmed Ghallab, President of the University with the participation of 21 international universities and 20 Egyptian universities. The President of Assiut University revealed that the university's participation came with a student delegation comprising 15 male and female students. In this regard, Dr. Shehata Gharib, Vice President for Education and Student Affairs, announced the university's success in winning the first place and a gold medal in beach volleyball, a silver medal in the field of science fiction, a silver medal in singing, and a bronze medal in plastic arts.

Assiut University President announced the participation of a delegation from Assiut University in the activities of the international cooperation forum between French universities and Egyptian universities, which was held under the auspices of the French Embassy and the French Cultural Center in Cairo Hotel Fairmont Nile City. The forum witnesses the participation of representatives from more than 20 French universities along with delegations from all Egyptian universities. Assiut University announces the arrival of a new delegation of students from the Russian University of Petagorsky

Assiut University President, Prof. Dr. Tarek El-Gammal announced the arrival of a new student delegation from the Russian University of Petagorsky to spend a two-month study period in Assiut University to learn Arabic language within the framework of the cooperation between Assiut University and a number of Russian universities, which dates back more than 25 years. Through this cooperation, exchange of student delegations between the two sides takes place in order to teach the Arabic language for Russian students and Russian language to the students of Assiut University. Dr. Hassan Abdel-Hamid Soliman, Coordinator of Russian Relations with Assiut University and Director of the Center for Russian Language Teaching at the University, held a preparatory meeting with Dr. Denis Mirgorov, Professor of Political Science, Dr. Natalia Sharp Arvoa, Professor of the Faculty of Education, University of Petagorsky, and the supervisors accompanying the delegation of 15 students. .

Assiut University continues its scientific and cultural cooperation with the US Embassy and AMIDEAST

Prof. Dr. Ahmed Minshawi, Vice President of Assiut University for Graduate Studies and Research, received Mrs. Ghada Abdel-Ghani, Donia Al-Dreij, assistants to Cultural Relations and Cultural Exchange at the US Embassy, and Walid Al-Trabelsi, Educational Adviser at the US Department of State, in the presence of Prof. Ahmed Saber, Dean of the Faculty of Arts. The meeting aimed to introduce students and researchers to the available cultural exchange programs within the USA and which are provided by the US Department of State. On the sidelines of the meeting, two scientific sessions were held in the presence of a group of faculty members, researchers and students at the university. During these sessions, the services and programs, offered by the US Embassy to the schools and universities in Upper Egypt annually, were tackled.

Assiut University signs an agreement for cultural and scientific cooperation with Louisville University, USA

Assiut University President, Prof. Dr. Tarek El-Gammal, announced that the university council has agreed to conclude a joint understanding agreement for cultural and scientific cooperation between the university and Louisville University in Kentucky, USA. This agreement comes within the framework of the University’s keenness to support and improve the cooperation, and scientific and cultural mutual exchange between the University and all Arab and foreign universities, in order to develop the education system and raise the efficiency of scientific research. Prof.El - Minshawi, Vice President for Graduate Studies and Research, said that the Memorandum of Understanding is valid for five years. He added that the memorandum includes joint training courses and workshops between the two universities, as well as the establishment of joint degrees for undergraduate and graduate students.
