Dr. Shehata Gharib, Vice President of the University for Education and Student Affairs, announced the approval of the Board of Directors of the Fund for the Welfare of Innovators and Deputies headed by Dr. Khalid Abdel Ghaffar, Minister of Education and Scientific Research, launching a series of programs and activities for students of Egyptian universities, including the competitions "Innovation Incentive 2022" and "Makers of Change 2022.

Dr. Shehata Ghraib explained that the Innovation Incentive Competition 2022 aims to support and motivate student teams to implement their innovative ideas and projects and help them reach them to the local and international market, and with regard to the competition "Makers of Change 2022 aims to support and motivate clubs and student families at Egyptian universities to advance their vision and ideas to implement initiatives and projects aimed at solving community problems in the local environment of their university communities.
With regard to the conditions of participation, the Vice-Chancellor of the University explained the need to obtain a written permit from the president of the university or his or her dean or the dean of the faculty, the team that is innovative in participating in the competition, and the team participating in the competition consists of at least 4 members and that one of the team members has sufficient technical experience in the field of the project with the need to have a supervisor on the project from the faculty of the same university.
