Within the framework of the directives of the Dean of the College to follow up the field training for our sons and daughters, male and female students of the third and fourth year in all scientific departments 
Prof. Dr. Saeed Mustafa, Assistant Professor of Wood Works and Director of the Field Training Office at the Faculty, inspected many schools and followed up the regularity of male and female students to attend weekly according to the day specified by each department, where he visited Nasser Military Secondary School for Boys, Islamic Secondary School for Girls, Hoda Shaarawy School and Al-Nahda Preparatory School for Girls.

Assiut University is preparing to launch the activities of the "Creative Man" festival to discover artistic talents. Next Sunday

Under the auspices of Dr. Ahmed El-Minshawy, President of Assiut University, the Arts Department of the General Administration of Student Welfare organizes the "Creative Man" festival to discover artistic talents in the fields of: playing, singing, religious chanting, and hymns for university students, during the period from November 3 to November 7, in the open theater in the main lobby) in the Olympic Village at the university.

It is noteworthy that the festival comes under the supervision of Dr. Ahmed Abdel Mawla, Vice President for Education and Student Affairs, Dr. Madiha Darwish, General Coordinator of Student Activities, Dr. Haitham Ibrahim, Director General of the General Administration of Student Welfare, and the preparation and implementation of Mr. Mohamed Gomaa, Director of the Arts Department, and Ms. Rasha Galal, Director of the Festival.

Dr. Al-Minshawi explained that the festival comes within the activities of the presidential initiative "A New Beginning; to Build the Human Being", and aims to discover various artistic talents, encourage students to highlight their talents and creativity, motivate them to interact and communicate positively with the artistic field, as well as include the distinguished elements of the art field.

A workshop was held under the supervision and training of Dr. Anfal Obada 
Lecturer of ceramics, Department of Art Education, Faculty
The ceramic workshop was held at the college on Wednesday, October 9, 2024 AD
The workshop was dedicated to middle school students within the framework of the presidential initiative for human development under the title "A New Beginning for Human Building" 
 They were trained on the methods and techniques of forming porcelain such as forming with ropes and slides and pressing in the molds to implement ceramic vessels of various shapes. 
The Dean of the Faculty praised the workshop and the skill and technical content during the workshop, starting from identifying the materials, tools and techniques used to reach a beautiful and distinctive ceramic product.
The Dean of the Faculty thanked Dr. Hala Salah, Head of the Department, and Dr. Anfal Obada for the distinguished initiative and providing such valuable workshops in cooperation with the Directorate of Education and the local community in Assiut.
