The Dean of the Faculty praised the seminar presented by Dr. Reham and the distinctive content, which is concerned with nutrition, food science and healthy food that we must eat to maintain human health and prevent many diseases.  She thanked the Community Service and Environmental Development Sector and the Home Economics Department at the Faculty.

A doctoral thesis was discussed for the researcher / Ahmed Talal Muhammad Al-Anzi (Kuwaiti researcher), and he obtained a master's degree in art education specializing in "textile printing"

With the recommendation to print the thesis at the expense of the university and circulate it between Egyptian and Arab universities.

Dr. Al-Minshawi: "Risk Management" aims to help achieve the university's goals and protect people and property

In the interest of Assiut University to achieve the objectives of its strategies (2024/2029), and to support the achievement of the goals of its vision, in order to enhance the growth and progress of the university, the continuity and sustainability of its services provided to the community, risk management has been added to the university's strategy (2024-2029), in light of the variables and risks at all levels and levels.

A workshop was held to teach "the art of macrame" under the supervision and training of Dr. Hagar Ahmed Hamed

Lecturer of Clothing and Textile, Department of Home Economics

The workshop was dedicated to children and they were trained on the most important basic techniques of macrame art and how to benefit from this art in beautifying the house and implementing small projects

The Dean of the Faculty praised the workshop and the skill and technical content during the training days, starting from identifying materials, tools and techniques to a beautiful artistic product that can be employed.

The Dean of the College thanked Dr. Hind Al-Yadak, Head of the Department, and Dr. Hagar for the distinguished initiative and providing such valuable workshops at the Public Service Center.

Her Excellency also stressed the college's keenness to provide many different technical workshops during the coming period to prepare our sons and daughters, male and female students and graduates of the college, as well as everyone who wishes to attend such workshops of all ages.

To keep pace with the labor market and invest these workshops in the implementation of small projects.

Under the auspices of Dr. Ahmed El-Minshawy, President of Assiut University, the Faculty and Leadership Development Center at Assiut University announces the training schedule for the "Digital Transformation for Graduate Students" courses, under the supervision of Dr. Gaber Ahmed Megahed, Director of the Center.

Digital transformation courses aim to develop the skills of graduate students in the field of digital transformation, and to benefit from technology in academic and research work, through a group of specialists in the field of digital transformation, information technology, and communication.

It is worth mentioning that the training program and the conduct of tests are conducted in English ........

The Great Civilization Competition "We Are Meen"

"Yaro" Foundation for Egyptian Civilization, in cooperation with Misr El-Kheir Foundation, announces the opening of applications for the major civilization competition under the title "Who are we?" within the framework of the joint cooperation protocol.

Objectives of the competition:

1- Discovering and adopting talents in various fields of the competition.

2- Linking the various artistic and literary skills of the participants to the history and civilization of the great Egypt.

3- Consecrating the Egyptian identity in the hearts of young people.

4- Preparing a generation of young people capable of preserving their national identity and highlighting it in their artistic and literary works.

5- Instilling ancient civilizational values, loyalty and belonging to the history of Egypt among young people and youth.

General conditions of the competition:

* The contestant participates in one work in each field.

* The contestant is not allowed to participate in more than one field.

* Full compliance with all conditions and technical frameworks for each of the fields.

* Commitment to fill out the participation form and no artistic or literary work is accepted without it.

* In case of violating any of the conditions of the competition, the work will be disqualified, with the exclusion of movable or adapted works.

* The contestant is not entitled to participate in a work that he has won in another competition, and when this is proven, the prize will be withdrawn.
