Quality Assurance Unit 1 - The Board of Directors approved the approval of the Council of the Department of Architecture to approve the reports of the first semester of the academic year 2017/2018.  Decision: The Council was informed. 2 - The Council submitted to the approval of the Council of the Department of Architecture to approve the descriptions of the second semester of the academic year 2017/2018.  Decision: The Council was informed 3. The Council has submitted to the Council of the Mining and Metallurgical Engineering Department approval to form a committee to review the Elnars standards for the program's programs.Resolution: Approved by the Council. 4. The Board was briefed by the Board of the Electrical Engineering Department on the report submitted by Dr. / Osama Mohamed Haraz regarding the results of the student questionnaires for the first semester of the academic year 2017/2018 for the faculty members in the Department of Communications and Electronics.Decision: The Council was informed. 5. The Board presented the memorandum submitted by Mr. / Dean of the College regarding the establishment of the Electronic Management Unit and the Electronic Learning Unit.Resolution: Approved by the Council. 6 - The Board presented the approval of the Academic Committee of the Executive Program for Interior Architecture to form the Committee for Program Standards (2009 and 2016 Rules).Resolution: Approved by the Council.

Faculty Affairs 1. The Board presented the request submitted by the colleagues of the late student / Ahmed Saad Ahmed Abdullah, "may God have mercy on him", the second department, the Department of Architecture on the approval of the acceptance of their donation to Kolder in his name to the Department of Architecture.Resolution: Approved by the Council. 2- The Board of Directors of the Electrical Engineering Department presented to the Board the approval of Mr. Mazen Mohamed Shafiq Abdel Salam on the renewal of his candidacy for the Board of Directors of the Authority for the implementation of projects for hydroelectric power stations for a period of two years ending on 18/4/2020.Resolution: Approved by the Council. 3. The Board presented the memo submitted by Mr. / Dean of the College on the unified administrative and financial system for the new special programs in expenses and working in the credit hours system at the Faculty of Engineering, Assiut University.Resolution: Approved by the Council.

Cultural relations affairs First: Conferences.1. The Board of Directors of the Department of Electrical Engineering and the Committee on Cultural Relations approved the presence of Mr. / Mazen Mohammed Shafiq Abdul Salam, "International Conference of Maritime Transport" held in 18-20 / 3/2018 in Alexandria, where his sovereignty is acceptable to the Conference on The University shall bear the expenses of travel and accommodation. Resolution: Approved by the Council. 2- The Board of Directors of the Department of Mechanical Engineering and the Committee on Cultural Relations approved the travel of Dr. / Mohamed Omar Ahmed Abdul Jawad for the United Arab Emirates for two days 3-5 / 4/2018 to give a lecture in Mechanical Engineering Department at American University in Sharjah. Held by the University for postgraduate students. Entitled "Mechanical properties of biological cells and their use as a means of diagnosing diseases".Resolution: Approved by the Council. 3. The Board of Directors of the Department of Electrical Engineering and the Committee on Cultural Relations agreed to the presence of Mr. / Mo'men Taha Hanafi, Professor in the section "The World Conference on Intelligent Intelligence, which will be held from 8-13 / 7/2018 in Brazil, where his sovereignty is acceptable. In the Conference that the University shall not bear any expenses.Resolution: Approved by the Council. 4- The Board of Directors of the Department of Electrical Engineering and the Committee on Cultural Relations agreed to the presence of Mr. Dr. Mohamed Medhat Tawfiq Abdel Rahim, "International Conference on Wireless Communication and Mobile Computing"'' The 14th International Wireless Communications And Mobile Computing Conference (IWCMC 2018)    Which will be held from 25-29 / 6/2018 in Cyprus, as its sovereignty is considered acceptable to the Conference, provided that the University shall bear the expenses of travel, residence and registration at the Conference.Resolution: Approved by the Council. 5. The Board of Directors of the Department of Electrical Engineering and the Committee on Cultural Relations agreed to the apology of Mr. Esam Mohamed Khaled, the Professor in the Department, for attending the SPIE Photonics Europe 2018 Conference which will be held from 22-26 / 4/2018 in Strasbourg, France. To delay the issuance of the University's decision to attend the conference because of delayed security response.Resolution: Approved by the Council. 6 - The Board presented the approval of the Council of the Department of Architecture and the Committee on Cultural Relations to the presence of Eng. / Islam Mohammed Sayed - Demonstrator section "the second International Conference of Architecture and Workshop organized by the University of Effat - Jeddah - Saudi Arabia, which will be held from 16-22 / 4/2018 Where he has an acceptable research at the conference to ensure that the university does not bear any expenses.Resolution: Approved by the Council. 7. The Board presented the Ninth International Conference on Architecture and Architecture, which will be held at the Department of Architecture, Assiut University, on 19/3/2019.Resolution: Approved by the Council.
